Turbo Datawin Surface Finish Evaluation Software The Turbo Datawin evaluation software provides greater functionality and report production when using the Hommel Testers T500 or T1000. The software is simple to use and provides parameter evaluation in a user-friendly way. Turbo Datawin provides a remote control facility on the Hommel Tester T500/T1000. T1000 Wave Mobile Surface Finish and Waviness Measurement The Hommel T1000 wave is a sister unit to the T1000 Basic. It has the same operating characteristics as the Basic version, however in addition to R parameters, the T1000 Wave can also measure P and W parameters. The T1000 Wave can be used as a portable unit on the shop floor, or can provide a very cost effective skidless pick-up system in the measuring room. Wavespeed 1010 Non-contact 3D Topography Measurement Hommel Wavespeed 1010 is a digital 3D topography surface analysis measuring system. Wavespeed 1010 is available in two versions. Wavespeed 1010 with a laser triangulation sensor for rough surfaces up to 10 mm and the Wavespeed TOP which has an additional confocal white light sensor for resolution of 0.01 µm. T8000 - Surfscan High Precision Contour and Surface Finish Measurement The Hommel T8000 Surfscan is a high accuracy measuring system with a resolution of 6 nm over the entire measuring range of 6 mm. This allows simultaneous measurement of roughness and contour parameters in one trace. The magnetic probe arm holder guarantees fast, simple probe arm changes and provides maximum equipment and component safety. The Surfscan measuring head can be integrated into all T8000 measuring stations configured with the Waveline 60, 120 or 200 traverse units and T8000 evaluation unit. In this configuration, traverse lengths up to 200mm can be attained. Pick-up Systems Surface Finish Probes The T8000 Measuring Station is available with a wide range of both skidded and skidless pick-ups for use in many different Surface Roughness, Waviness and Contour measurement application. A selection of the available pick-ups are shown below. T8000 Software Contour and Surface Finish Measurement Software Measurement software for the T8000 System is available in various configurations depending on the nature of the measurements being undertaken. The Standard options are: Turbo Roughness, Turbo Contour, Turbo wave and Hommel Map. General Features High-resolution Windows 32-bit functionality. User configurable screens and print formats. Turbo Roughness Turbo Roughness is suitable for undertaking complex surface roughness measurements with ease. The software enables the operator to measure all common roughness and waviness parameters. It allows exact positioning of the traverse unit in manual or CNC mode and displays the position of the pick-up in relation to the work piece. Pick-up signals are displayed both graphically and numerically. Turbo Contour Turbo Contour is a user friendly, icon driven software that enables accurate contour measurements to be undertaken and evaluated quickly and efficiently. Measurement features such as distances, angles and radii are displayed directly on the screen and can by easily toleranced using drawing specifications. Measurement results from Turbo Contour can be exported in various formats for manipulation in Excel or SPC software packages. T8000 Software Contour and Surface Finish Measurement Software Turbo Wave Turbo Wave is the latest T8000 software solution. It combines the functionality of Turbo Roughness and Turbo Contour to enable both Surface Roughness and Contour measurements to be made using the same measuring station. Turbo Wave software when combined with the Surfscan traverse system provides the functionality to make high precision roughness and contour measurements in one trace. Measurement values are evaluated and displayed clearly in one diagram on the screen. Hommel Map Hommel Map is a software extension to Turbo Wave. It enables the operator to undertake complex 3D topography analysis and presentation using measurement data captured with the T8000 hardware. 59

Topometer Cylinder Bore Measurement and Inspection The Topometer allows quick and accurate inspection of cylinder bore surfaces directly on the production floor. Visual inspection of the surface and contact inspection of surface finish are combined in one compact measuring probe. Measurement and assessment of surface features such as: Crosshatch pattern including angles, groove width, surface structure. Areas of defects. Area of blowholes. Stroke reversal radius. Roughness. Features Topometer is available as a visual system or a combined model with roughness measuring capabilities. Visual systems can be upgraded to combined roughness at a later date. Probes available in lengths of 100 200mm. Bores from 60mm in diameter. Extension boards for live video display, image processing and roughness testing unit. User friendly software menus.
