What would be the impact of the land use changes occurring due to the proposed project on the runoff characteristics (quantitative as well as qualitative) of the area in the post construction phase on a long term basis? Would it aggravate the problems of flooding or water logging in any way? The site is located in well drained area and as such their shall be no adverse impact on on the runoff characteristics, the project has been incorporated with 06 no s percolation pits for ground water recharge, infiltration galleries in the storm water drains and the excess shall be carried into the public storm water drains. 2.9. What are the impacts of the proposal on the ground water?(will there be tapping of groundwater; give the details of ground water table, recharging capacity, and approvals obtained from competent authority, if any) There is no provision for utilization of ground water, due to the usage of the existing 2 bore shafts in the project for deep aquifer recharging and water supply assured from Halehalli Grama Panchayat, on the contrary the rain water and the excess water is being directed into percolation and infiltration galleries thereby enhancing the ground water recharging.

2.10. What precautions/measures are taken to prevent the run-off from construction activities polluting land & aquifers? (Give details an the measures taken to avoid the adverse impacts) The activity being construction using ready mix concrete, water is being used only for curing purpose there was no generation of waste water as such to cause any polluting factors, and there was no labour camp set up in the site area so as to create any polluting load. 2.11. how is the storm water from within the site managed?(state the provisions made to avoid flooding of the area, details of the drainage facilities provided along with a site layout indication contour levels) there is provision of storm water drain from the peripheral boundaries of the site with in built infiltration galleries and diversions to percolating pits located all over the open areas of the project drainage details and drawing is provided with contour levels or runoff levels. 2.12. Will the deployment of construction labourers particularly in the peak period lead to unsanitary conditions around the project site (justify with proper explanation) During construction period worker welfare is given importance by providing good sanitation facilities as mentioned in item no. 1.7 as above 2.13. What on-site facilities are provided for the collection, treatment & safe disposal of sewage? (Give details of the quantities of wastewater generation, treatment capacities with technology & facilities for recycling and disposal) Sewage treatment plant is provided of capacity 1 no.
