Fridays- Viking Village Dock Tours- 10:00AM-Viking - Village 19 th & Bayview, July 3 rd through September 4 th. Come see how this historic dock operates and how seafood goes from the boat to your plate. To make reservations, please call the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce, 494-7211 Reclam The Bay- 11:00AM- 10 th Street & Bayview, beginning in June. Come see this interesting demonstration by Reclam the Bay that shows the importance of the clam to Barnegat Bay. See the growth of a baby clam, their development and feeding. For more information visit Reclamthebay.org Beach Badges- Beach Badges are required by all persons, 12 and over, who are on the beach. Badges are required from June 11 th until September 5 th between the hours of 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Fees: Season Badges are on sale from mid-november until June 10 th at the Pre-Season price of $30, after June 10 th the season badge cost is $40.00 Weekly Badges are $22.00 and are good from Saturday to Friday Daily Badges are $5.00 Senior Badges are $12.00 for any person 65 years or older, they must be purchased by the senior in person with proof of age *There is a $1.00 convenience charge for each badge purchased on the beach* Boat Ramp- The ramp is located at 10 th & Bayview Fees: Season Pass is $120.00 per vessel (including jet skis) Daily Pass is $20.00 per vessel (including jet skis) Commercial Season Pass is $200.00

Tennis Courts- The tennis courts are public courts and can be used by anyone. Reservations are recommended, Barnegat Light residents can make reservations two weeks in advance and all others one week in advance. The courts are open 8:00AM until 6:00PM seven days a week. Fees: Regular fees -$12.00 per hour per court Pass #1 (only available to Barnegat Light residents until June 10 th ) The cost of this pass is $80.00 for 10 hours of play, a $40.00 savings. Four passes may be purchased per person. Pass #2 (only available to Barnegat Light residents until June 10 th ) The cost of this pass is $75.00 and is a season pass for one court at a set day and time weekly during the season. This pass will give you a savings of $57.00. Skate Park- The Skate Park is open daily from 9:00AM until 6:00PM (or dusk, whichever comes first). All skaters must have a, helmet, elbow pads & kneepads Beach Wheels- Beach wheels are available to be lent out to any beach patron who is unable to walk to the beach or on the beach. For more information call the Borough Hall at 494-9196 Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 3:30PM Dogs- All dogs must be licensed and leashed. Dogs are allowed on the beach on a leash from September 15 th until April 15 th Dog Park The ball field on West 10 th Street is also a Dog Park. It s a great place for dogs to run free and play. All dogs MUST be licensed and have a current rabies vaccination! Also, all dogs must be friendly & nonaggressive. Please be sure to clean-up after your dog! Driveways- Driveways need to be designated, you may not use your entire property front as a driveway. You can designate a minimum of 10 feet and a maximum of 20 feet, the remainder of your property front may be used for public street parking Parking- There will be no parking on Central Ave. between June 1 st and October 1 st. And no parking of trailers overnight (12AM-5AM) on any streets all yearround.

Lending Library- The Borough has a small lending library, located in the Community Room at the Borough Hall on East 7 th St. Want something to read or do you want to get rid of some books you have already read? Stop by and visit our library. Bring a book, take a book or both. Volunteering- The First Aid Squad and Fire Company need volunteers- come out and help your neighbors! Museum Hours- The Barnegat Light Museum is located at 5 th & Central. Weekends in June & September- 11:00PM 2:00PM Daily in July & August- 11:00PM 2:00PM *The Barnegat Light Historical Society is always looking for new members!* For questions or more information call 494-8578 9-1-1 Dial 9-1-1 for any First Aid, Fire or Police emergencies. Make sure your house number is visible from the street! Mobility &/or Hearing Impaired Residents- If you or a loved one are a resident (full or part time) of Barnegat Light and have a disability that would require you to need assistance during an evacuation or have a hearing impairment that would cause you to have difficulty hearing the announcements following the sounding of the nuclear siren during an event at the power plant, please contact Borough Hall, 494-9196, to be have your name put on our confidential list. Recycling- 2016 Recycling Schedules & Guidelines have been mailed out to all residents. Additional copies & the required stickers are available at the Borough Hall. You must make special arrangements for items with Freon (refrigerators/freezers & air conditioners), Electronics (TV, computer, monitors, etc.), White Goods (washers, dryers, hot water heaters) & metal items to be picked up, call the Borough Hall for more information, Monday- Friday 8:00AM to 3:30PM 494-9196 Digging Holes on the Beach- Digging holes on the beach is extremely dangerous! Do not dig holes any deeper than your knees and be sure to fill in all holes when finished Saltwater Fishing Registration- The State of New Jersey requires anyone 16 year-old & over to register for saltwater fishing.
