Page 1 This is the home page. You can simply browse the catalogs for products from here. To order online, you must login. Search capabilities are restricted to Northern part number only until you have logged in. If you are going to search and purchase a product, we recommend going right to the Sign In link and logging in before browsing for your product. Once signed in, you will stay signed in for up to 4 hours without activity. After 4 hours, the system will log you out due to inactivity.

From here you can go into any of the catalogs listed to find your product. These catalog selection tabs are available throughout the site from any page; you can click a category and get into it.

Page 3 Once you choose a catalog, you will be brought to a screen that lets you choose to search by application or in some catalogs the option of searching by category. You will be able to do a continuous drill down as you go further into the catalog until you come to a product list page.

Page 4 This is the page that you come to after choosing the Sign In link. Enter your username and password in the login box to continue. If you haven t requested a login, please click the request login link, fill out the form and click submit. A username and password will be sent to you if you are currently a Northern customer.

Page 5 99001 ABC Company #10 ABC Company, Willmar, MN #13 BSC Company, Roseville, MN #15 DSC Company, Des Moines, IA #17 JSC Company, Omaha, NE Once you have been given a username and password and you sign in, you will either be signed right in (if you are assigned to one acct with no ship-to s) or If you are assigned to more than 1 account, you must choose your customer then click Submit. If your account has stored ship-to s, you must then choose the ship-to that you are ordering for or are located at. You can narrow down the list by typing in either the store #, store name, the city or state of your location and you will see the list narrow down. Once you choose your ship-to and click Submit, you will be signed in.

Page 6 Once logged in, you will notice that the system recognizes what company you are with, what store you are (if one was chosen) and you can see what warehouse you are shopping out of. This new site, allows for easy change of warehouse by clicking the pull down menu and selecting a new location BUT keep in mind, if you change the warehouse and you had items in your cart, the items MAY drop from the cart if the item is not available from the newly selected warehouse. When you get to the part, you can enter a qty in the box and add it to your cart. You can see availability and pricing if you are set up that way. You can check availability in other locations by clicking the View Warehouse Avail link. This will show all locations that have this product In Stock. You can also start a wishlist from this screen by clicking the add to wishlist link. This wishlist will be saved in Wishlists, under the My Account Link at the top.

Page 8 When you add to cart, this message will let you know that it was added successfully. You can click the x in the upper right corner of the message box to exit from the message. Once you add a product to your cart, a mini-cart will drop down for a moment allowing you the option of clicking the Checkout button. You may continue shopping, or if you are ready to check out, simply hover over the view cart icon for the drop-down and click the checkout button.

On the item detail page, you can see a larger picture, the Item Details, Alternate Views of the product if available, additional information if we have attached. You can also see availability, check other warehouses, see your cost as well as jobber price and have the ability to add to your cart from this page as well. Another great feature of this page is that if you hover over the picture, a zoomed in view of that part of the product will show up. You can see a whole zoomed image by clicking on the zoom link below the image. Page 9

Page 10 Quick order entry can be used if you know exactly what part(s) you need and just want to place the order. Click the Quick Order link at the top of the page. Enter the part number and tab over to the quantity. Once a quantity is entered the price and extended price will show up. When finished, click the Add All To Cart button at the bottom of the page (not shown). The mini cart will pop up and you can click checkout from there.

Page 11 When you click View Cart, this is the screen you see. It shows you everything that you have in your cart and the quantities. You can choose to add quantities and update your cart, Remove Items from your cart, continue shopping or go to checkout from here.

Page 12 On the first page of checkout, you have the option of keeping your ship-to info as selected (either the default ship-to address or the store # address that you selected at sign in) or if you are having the item drop-shipped you can click the Enter Drop Ship Address box and you can fill in the pertinent information for Drop Ship. Then click Continue. If you are a customer that has chosen a Store Ship-to at sign in, please review to make sure that you have selected the correct location. If you haven t, you must sign out and sign back in to select the correct Ship- To. You cannot change the address for the store location here.

Use the Drawing Tools tab to change the formatting of the pull quote text box.] Page 13 ABC Company ABC Company On the Review and Pay page, you can double check your parts and quantities, enter your PO number (required), enter notes if necessary specific for the order and choose your preferred shipping method (UPS Ground is the default). Once this is done, you can click submit. If you aren t ready to submit the order, you can also save it for later.

Page 14 ABC Company ABC Company Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation number. Please keep record of this number as it is your order number and you will need it for reference on questions regarding the order.

Page 15 To look at previous orders placed, either by phone or by the website, simply click on the My Account link at the top right of your screen. Then click Orders at the left center of your screen. You can enter the time frame that you want to look at by entering a date range. You can also search for orders by entering in your confirmation # or order / invoice number in the Order Number field.

If you forget your password, you have to choose the option Forgot Password? at sign in to have a new one emailed to you. Once you have gotten the email with the newly created password, sign in using that password, go to My Account, Account Settings. Here you can enter the password that was sent to you, and then create a new password that you will remember. Page 16
