PART 5 FAQ... 27 Part 1 SAFETY OPERATION 1.1 SAFETY OPERATION Thanks to the use of RESTMOMENT conference system. Please read this operation carefully before you use the equipment, and operate it as request. 1 Please confirm the power supply system is under the requirement of the equipment normal level. 2 Please protect cable not be treaded and pressed, special joint. 3 When setup system, should insure the connection of ground is well, don t use 2 Pin plug. Input voltage AC 100~240V50Hz 4 Resist 1.5M free falling body industrial level aseismatic standard. 5 Please notice the system environment, not too hot or too cold, keep the suitable temperature 6 Equipment power supply will get hot when it work, so should keep work environmental aeration, avoid hot temperature. 7 Please turn off main supply in wet weather or free time. 8 Please pull out power supply before below operation. Apart or rerun setup any spare parts Reload any plug or other conncetions. 9 Equipment with AC 100~240V components, please don t open machine cover. When it work with conference system, could manage MIC, and have sign-in vote video function. It can t work without hardwork. 4.1 RX-3500 hardware connection 4.1.1 system controller and unit connection. system controller and unit connection use 6P cable. system controller Output port connect the first unit IN port. Every Output could connect 20 units. For avoiding interference, system controller cable should have special duct. Standard cable length is 10 M, could order more long cable as actually. Notice: -7-

Please don t change the connection between unit and system controller. It could lead Anomalies. 4.1.2 unit and unit connection. Hand-in-Hand connection. Unit with 6P-2M cable. The first unit Out port to the second unit In port. The second unit Out port to the third unit In port. Followed by analogy. 4.1.3 system controller and speed done camera connection. speed done camera, have ceiling and wall-mounted mode. Camera high less than 2-3 M. The distance between camera and rostrum is 10-15M. Camera need independence power supply, should be setup with 100~240V socket System controller have 8 video input, 4 video output, could handle 8 PCS camera. Camera double Pin cable connect corresponding video port of system controller. For instance, the camera address No is 1, video info should connect the first input. Camera communication adopt RX-485 transmit way. For insure transmit distance and anti-jamming, suggest use twisted-pair, from camera RS-485 +/- port to system controller RS-485 +/- port. Camera and keyboard connection as above. Notice: Please don t mess camera +/-, otherwise, will lead unusual situation. Please don t use software and keyboard for camera simultaneous. It will lead camera out off control. -8-

enter main menu Press MENU/CONFIRM, enter system main menu. See photo 4.2.2 main menu instruction: Conference event: edit conference event and check agenda result. Work mode: setup unit work mode. Speaker set: setup output and input volume. Video-tracing: setup panorama/unit video tracing. System setup: unit NO chairman unit LED setup language IC card and speech count down time. Help: system version No. Exit: Exit system menu. 4.2.3 new system adjustment steps; 4.2.3.1 Adjustment steps: Si el sistema viene reseteado de fábrica y no se utilizan tarjetas IC, tiene que deshabilitarse esta opción. MENU SYSTEM SETTING OTHER SETTING IC CARD OFF 1)Check connection as system connection diagram, then turn on system controller. System check units automatically and show equipment list. Please confirm the equipment list is the same as actually quantity. After than, system enter standby interface. -10-

Notice: in this list, the chairman unit is executive chairman. 2) setup unit quantity and ID No. Press, enter system main unit, select system setup, then select to edit ID No, press again. At this moment, we could edit ID No for this unit. Enter Edit ID No, select right key, edit one ID No, as below photo: Setup ID No, move cursor to start, press. At previous, press unit s MIC key. 4.2.3.2 vote in controller Para poder realizar una votación es necesario identificar previamente las unidades que van a poder votar. Esto se hace mediante la opción Sign in. Before vote, should setup units quantity. Vote people quantity should be the same as setup quantity ( for instance, we setup units quantity as 50. Press photo, enter system main menu, then enter Meeting event setup interface, see below menu include: New sign in: setup sign in conference event, enter sign in interface, press start, see below photo: Ought seria el número de unidades totales. Al pulsar start se activará una cuenta atrás de 30s para que todas las unidades activas puedan darse de alta en la votación pulsando su propia tecla mic. Para finalizar el proceso sin acabar la cuenta atrás debe pulsarse la tecla menú, que la dejará con solo 2s de margen. -12-

New vote: setup vote conference event, enter vote interface, press start. More than 10 vote modes could be selected. see below photo. Al pulsar start se activará una cuenta atrás de 30s para que todas las unidades puedan votar. Para finalizar el proceso sin acabar la cuenta atrás debe pulsarse la tecla menú, que la dejará con solo 2s de margen. New poll: setup poll conference event, enter poll interface, press start. Output volume: could adjust volume as meeting room request. 4.2.3.5 setup video trace in controller -15-

One camera could have 2 panorama. 2.Move cursor to, adjust camera panorama position. Notice: up down left right is for camera moving speed. 3.Adjust Focus Aperture Zoom up down left right. Notice: up down left right is for camera moving speed. 4.Move cursor to camera 01, select correspondence panorama. -16-

Notice: Camera address No will change automatically when adjust panorama position. 5.Move cursor to save NO:001, select one to save camera position. 6.Move cursor to save panorama 001 as preset point Notice: Save No can t repeat. back to previous menu, RST meat clear all save No. setup unit tracing steps: ( see below photo) 1 Select unit 0001, press. 2 Move cursor to, preset unit position 3 up down left right is for camera moving speed. 4 Move cursor to camera 01, select correspondence unit. 5 Move cursor to save NO:001, select one to save camera position. 6 Move cursor to save unit 001 as preset point Notice: Save No can t repeat. back to previous menu, RST meat clear all save No. Video matrix: setup controller 4 matrix video output. See below photo Out put 1-4 meant video output; 1-8 meant 8 cameras. For instance, setup output 1 with 1-3 cameras video signal, as below steps: 1 Move cursor to output1, press, move cursor to 1-3, press, grounding is black. 2 Move cursor to save it. Turn off video: -17-

As above photo: preset camera 1 to trace unit No1-5, setup 4 panorama. camera 1 corresponding MIC setup unit 1-5. 3 options previous unit No action ID 0001 turn off all to panorama camera switch to panorama when all units are off. 1~4 meant panorama 1~4. black grounding. time meant camera 1 panorama switch time. cameras switch panorama switch have two types. gradation select panorama gradation according to port. dependence select panorama gradation according to camera No. for instance Port 1 have camera 1 camera 2 camera 3, all cameras have 4 panoramic positions. gradation, panoramic switch gradation: 1a 1b 1c 1d 2a 2b 2c 2d 3a 3b 3c 3d 4a 4b 4c 4d dependence, panoramic switch gradation: 1a 2a 3a 4a 1b 2b 3b 4b 1c 2c 3c 4c 1d 2d 3d 4d 4.2.3.6 setup system function in controller Press, enter system main menu, then enter system setup interface, see below photo -18-

This menu include: Edit No: setup total human quantity and unit No. Status setup: setup executive chairman unit. One system only have one executive chairman unit. ID item display all common chairman unit. Screen setup: setup LED brightness and contrast. See below photo: Menu language setup: setup controller language. See below photo: System have Chinese and English. Could order other languages. Other setup: IC card sign-in function, speech count down time. As below photo: Back: back to previous menu. 4.3 RX-MBVS software setup and adjustment. -19-

1 About RX-MBVS RX-MBVS is RESTMOMENT digital conference system RX-3500 increment software. Work with conference system, have microphone manage sign-in vote video tracing function. It can t work without hardware 1) System need hardware and software circumstance. Hardware circumstance. RX-MBVS need hardware equipment as below: (1)Pentium III 800 MHz CPU or above, 128M EMS memory or above. (2)Should support 1024 768 resolution. Software circumstance. Restmoment conference system software could work under below MS Window: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP2003, suggest use Windows XP. 2) Please confirm the connection between RX-M3500 system controller and PC serial port. 3) RX-M3500 should select PC model. 4) When need video tracing, RX-M3500 should connect RX-C/D3500 and speed done camera. 2 Setup RX-MBVS is easy to install. Please do it as setup guide, or as below steps: 1) Please confirm your hardware and software as our suggestion. 2) Double-click RX-MBVS Setup.exe installation procedure. 3) As system guide, click next, then select setup list, you could select default. 4) After copy, RX-MBVS setup is finish. 5) Press finish key, over this setup. -20-

4.3.1 RX-MBVS RX-MBVS function 1 User confirm. Start main procedure, enter software language communication protocol ID validate interface. As below photo. Please ask Restmoment distributor for password. Password: restmoment Select PC serial port. See below photo -21-

Setup new event, this system could have many conference events. See below photo: Total of units-> Numero de unidades instaladas, Attendance-> numero de unidades participantes en la conferencia (menor o igual a les unidades instaladas. Toastmaster-> Es el nombre del director (un nombre cualquiera) Una vez configurada la conferencia pulsar Save. Para abrir una conferencia ya configuradas hacer doble clic en la misma en el listado Conference name. Input concerned conference info and preset password, confirm it and enter conference main interface, see below photo: -22-

4.3.1.2 Attendance file www.restmoment.com 4.3.1.3 Agenda Management En este menú se configuran las votaciones y las funciones Sign. Debe realizarse una programación Sign que se deberá ejecutar antes de las votaciones para identificar las unidades que participaran en ellas. Siempre que se haga una modificación en algún parámetro de las unidades del software deberá ejecutarse la función Sign de nuevo. Pueden activarse las votaciones desde el menu Agenda control, haciendo doble clic sobre ellas seleccionándolas y pulsando Implement agenda. -24-
