3 Introduction 1 1 Introduction The sequence of steps in this document are described in a simple and detailed way, for you as a user, can make use of this information and take advantage to make your job easier. You will be guided through concise explanations accompanied by demonstrative graphics application usage. The Server is where the Data Base is physically storage. Millennium Aduanas server Is where the critical process from system will run. (Both severs can be run in the same Equipment). We recommend that the following steps will be done by your IT personal. Please read this manual before you start downloading the files needed for the subsequent process of installing and configuring SQL Millennium Aduanas; if you have questions please contact us via at tickets_aduanas@bettaglobalsystems.com This manual is only for purposes of consultation, and the examples discussed here may differ from real situation; it's just a base document to help user of Millennium Aduanas SQL. This tutorial will show us how to install MSSQL software, it is assume that the company have already installed in the server all the configuration, and Visual C++ application it's also previously installed. We assume that you have downloaded Millennium Aduanas Installation icon and Visual C++ is already installed. Before we start with these steps it's necessary that we have MA_SEVER & MA_DATA Databases already created. The next installation process will create/ update tables in mentioned databases, and they will be required to execute Millennium Aduanas system correctly. You can get these 2 databases of the following three ways: MA_SERVER : 1.- Create an MA_SERVER totally new on SQL SERVER (New Database) 2.- Use MA_SERVER already configured in the server (The one in use from MA v13.2). 3.- Pegar un respaldo del MA_SERVER que ya se tiene en una base de datos nueva (Respaldar y restaurar).

4 2 MA_DATA : 1.- Create an MA_DATA totally new on SQL SERVER (New Database) 2.- Use MA_DATAalready configured in the server (The one in use from MA v13.2). 3.- Pegar un respaldo del MA_DATA que ya se tiene en una base de datos nueva (Respaldar y restaurar). last option could require to Import Companie to the new MA_SERVER (you will see how to do it later in this manual). 5 Introduction 3 2 Opening Ports En la siguiente sección se explicará cómo aperturar los puertos necesarios para trabajar en un esquema Cliente-Servidor con la nueva versión de Millennium Aduanas. Este proceso se realizará solo en el servidor dónde será instalado el configurador de Millennium Aduanas (Servidor de Millennium Aduanas); Quizas sea el mismo en dónde se encuentra la base de datos. Se recomienda realizar este proceso de la mano con el personal de sistemas. El siguiente capítulo no es necesario realizarlo si su instalación será de tipo MONOUSUARIO. 2.1 Access to the Advanced Security Firewall The following process may vary depending on the version of windows that utilize. Access the Control Panel. Then we enter System and Security.

6 4 Then to Firewall / Advanced settings.

7 Opening Ports 2.2 Opening ports on the next screen he have to choose Indbound rules / New rules Then we choose port and press next Then we choose specific local ports and we type in 24620,24621; press next. 5

8 6 in the next section we choose allow connection and press continue. The following section needs to be configured with the help of the IT department as it can be variable according to the operating rules and permissions for each company; we suggest marking the first 2 options, Domain and Private.

9 Opening Ports 7 Then assign the name: Millennium Server to name of our rule and will click Finish.

10 8 3 Create & Share Repositorio folder The following section describes how to create the repository folder and then share it This process is performed only on the server where the Setup of Millennium Aduanas (Millennium Aduanas Server) is installed; Maybe it's the same which the database is (single user config). 3.1 Create & Sharer To create repositorio folder we need to go to Start menu ( then do a click on Computer. ), Get in Drive C:/ (it can be another unit, depends on the server config).

11 Create & Share Repositorio folder Create a folder named "Repositorio": Once that the folder is created do a right click on it. then go to the Share tab 9

13 Create & Share Repositorio folder 11 Here are the names of users (or clients) who will be connecting to server Millannium Aduanas; we can look through the list or add one pressing "Add" button. The next step is to position ourselves on the user you will be given permission and you select the option reading and writing:

14 12 This process should be done for each Client user. to finish press Share: Then will appear a windows confirming the Repositorio folder shared, just pres Ready.

15 Create & Share Repositorio folder Assigning unit R To assign repositorio folder to a unit we need to go to Start menu ( ), then do a click on Computer.

16 14 on the next window we need to do a click on Map network drive option. When the next window appears Select in Drive section the unit R (The letter are is just a recommendation, it can be any available unit)

18 16 We have to select in the Shared unit before from server and found Repositorio folder, then do a click on Finish.

20 18 4 Installation & Configuration Next section explains how to install and configure Millennium Aduanas. This process will be realized in the server/client in where the setup of Millennium Aduanas is installed and the application. (Millennium Aduanas server). It could be the same equipment in which the Data base is physically storage. 4.1 Installation Do double click on the Millennium Aduanas executable icon, It will make appear next window, where the process will start:

21 Installation & Configuration 19 Press Siguiente to continue with the installation... In the next screen you should press Instalar option to begin with the installation.

22 20 To finish we do a click on Cerrar, Then will appear the configuration window.

24 Configuration Under Base de Datos tab we need to fill up the next fields : Servidor Millennium: Leave it EMPTY. The next fields are required: Proveedor: SQL Server Servidor: The namef of SQL Server instance. Usuario: admin, the one created in SQL Server, Contraseña: mbettaglo, the one created in SQL Server, Base de Datos: MA_SERVER_1, (This Data Base should be created previously in SQL server manually), (The name can be TEST_SERVER) Press Probar Conexión. If the connection was successful you will see the next message, If it wasn't we must correct the fields mentioned.

25 Installation & Configuration 23 In Repositorio we must select the repositorio folder, it can be in drive c:\repositorio (if this is a server) or unit R (if this is a client) In server (c:/repositorio) we must not to press Validar Repositorio, this option is only for clients configuration.

26 24 then press Guardar. if the connection was successful 4.3 Config. Modo Next step will be is to go to Config. Modo tab; we will choose in it the configuration mode in which our installation will be. Servidor Maestro: Both servers are (Data base & Millenium server) physically installed in the same equipment. (Client would be required) Servidor Cluster: Database server and Millennium server are physically on 2 different equipments. (Client would be required) NOTE: WE ARE CONFIGURING THE M.A. SERVER, IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO SELECT ESTACIÓN DE TRABAJO OPTION.

28 26 Next window will create/update tables in the Data Base (DB: MA_SERVER) Click on Crear option.

30 28 It is normal for these tables are missing, they are new and they are necessary for Millennium Aduanas new version. At the end we can check the database in SQL Server and can see the list of files with their basic data.

31 Installation & Configuration Companies Administration Up to this point we have prepared our database server (MA_SERVER); the next point is to prepare the database operation (MA_DATA) Creating, Importing or updating them. For this we will click on the Empresas tab. If the business you're looking IS NOT IN THE LIST you must perform the following: a) If the company is brand new (you just gave New Database in SQL Server and is completely empty (no tables)) you will need to click on the Crear Empresa button

32 30 (This option is basically for new customers of Betta Global Systems). b) If your company is a previous backup or already operating tables created you must click Importar Empresa Empty list. If the company is already in the list, continue to Chapter Updating companies Create Companies donde ingresaremos la base de datos de operación (MA_DATA nueva), el código que sera asignado a la empresa y el nombre. Clicking on Crear Empresa will make appear the next screen where we are going to set up the database operation (MA_DATA new), the code and name will be assigned to the company.

34 32 Will apepar the next screen that will create the operative tables of the system; Do a click on Crear Tablas button.

35 Installation & Configuration 33 You will see a confirmation message when it is done : If you use these steps, it won't be necessary to Update nor Import companies ; Go straight to Create shortcut chapter Import Companies To import a company do a click on Importar Empresa.

36 34 in the next screen we must fill up the next iformation: Base de Datos: Name of the data base in operation that we want to link. Código de Empresa: New code for the company

39 Installation & Configuration Updating companies YOU NEED TO DO THIS PROCESS FOR EACH COMPANY THAT APPEAR ON THE LIST. Here it is important to note that the database that is on the list, have a different version from the setup screen; for these cases (and future updates) It must be necessary to update and make match all databases versions with the setup screen version. Select the company from the list and press Actualizar.

40 38 NOTE : if we expand Actualizar button we can find "actualizar todas" option, It makes to all companies in the list be updated: Next process will be done:

41 Installation & Configuration At the end you will see a tables list that will need to be created in the DB of the operation. Do a click on Crear Tablas. 39

At the end you can see that the Data bases and the setup screen have the same version Now the DB is updated. 4.6 Ceate a shortcut of Millennium setup Is important to create a shortcut in desktop from the Setup of Millennium Aduanas, this is because we will need it to update Millennium aduanas constantly. Choose Servidor tab and do a click on Crear Acceso Directo.

43 Installation & Configuration 41 ports y should be previously opened. this icon will appear on your desktop. 4.7 Install the service The next step is to install the service in Millennium AduanasEl siguiente paso es instalar el servicio de Millannium Aduanas. Go to Servidor tab, do a click on Instalar Servicio option.

44 42 This process might take 1 min approximately. when it finish we will see available next options: Here we do a click on Iniciar Servicio.

45 Installation & Configuration 43 Once that the service is running, you will see on the status box "Corriendo" : 4.8 Exiting from system It is necessary to comply 100% this manual steps.
