With a study started for our Crafter school vehicles in 2013, we aimed to provide an opportunity for drivers to check whether the children are sitting in their seats and wearing their seat belts. Drivers can see the seat placement of the vehicle through the screen. At first, all the seats are red, when seated they turn to yellow and when the seat belt is fastened they turn to green. Thus, the drivers can control whether the children are wearing their seat belts or not. This application is controlled with the help of sensors that were placed on the seats. SEAT All SEAT models including Leon, Toledo, Ibiza, Altea XL and Alhambra were awarded 5-stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests. In addition to the four different driving modes, Scania Opticruise Automated Transmission offers Cradle Movement in two different functions which allows precise control at low speeds and helps to get away from the area during maneuver and skidding. Scania Ecocruise is a speed control system which uses the kinetic energy of the vehicle in the best way. The system works with retarder in the Economy Mode of Opticruise. Ecocruise stands out with its positive contribution to fuel economy in road conditions especially where there are lots of ups and downs. New R885 differential, used in vehicles that have been designed to be used especially under severe conditions, is 20% more powerful than R780, whereas 20 kg lighter and reduces operating costs by providing three times more service life with the same load. The new design of gears, bearings and the differential lock ensures more efficient use and longer service life. LED technology, offered as optional, can be used in daytime running lights and signal 3
