It is a real pleasure to announce our wedding. It would be our honour if you would share our special day with us. On Saturday afternoon, May the 18th, the wedding ceremony will start at 1 o clock in Nové Adalbertinum building, Hradec Králové. The reception will follow after the ceremony. The official invitation will be delivered soon via post to your address. This document is intended to provide basic information which may be useful in organizing your trip to Hradec Králové. The Place We both come from Hradec Králové, so the choice of the venue was quite clear. Situated 120 km north-east from Prague, Hradec Králové is easy to reach (see How to get there). In the historical centre of the town, the ceremony will be held in Nové Adalbertinum building - former monastery built in 1710, which has been recently renovated as the Congress Centre and the Hotel. Depending on the weather, the ceremony will either be held in the open-air yard or in one of the Halls situated on the ground floor. The following reception will start after the ceremony in the main Hall (old refectory) situated on the second floor of the building. In the evening, the neighbouring lounge room will be opened and part of the program will continue there.

How to get there As mentioned in the previous chapter, Hradec Králové is well connected with Prague. Most international flights go to Václav Havel airport in Prague, and the following description provides the information on what to do after you land in Prague. Traveling from Prague to Hradec Králové, you have three basic options: You can take the train from Central Station Praha hlavní nádraží, the bus from the Bus terminal Florenc or Černý Most or you can rent a car directly on the airport. By Train To get from the airport to the Central Train station - Praha hlavní nádraží, you can take the direct bus marked AE (Airport express) or regular line 119 to the final stop Dejvická, where you change for Metro A. On Můstek junction you change from line A to line C which will take you to Hlavní nádraží. The public transport in Hradec Králové Directly in front of the Main Railway Station (Hradec Králové hlavní nádraží), there is a hub of all public transport lines. You can take one of the following numbers: 2,6,7,11,12,17 If you come by bus you will arrive to Central bus terminal. To get to the town centre, take one of the lines listed above. You can buy tickets for public transport inside the Main Railway Station or in the Bus Terminal building. Main Railway Station We assume that you will stay in some of the hotels situated nearby Nové Adalbertinum in the historical centre. To see the stop closest to your hotel, please turn the page. Parking For parking in Hradec Králové please check your hotel webpage. You can also park your car on Velké náměstí (in front of Nové Adalbertinum). It will cost you 30 CZK per weekend day. In case you come with your children, the best solution would be to make your reservation directly in Hotel Nové Adalbertinum. The hotel is located in the same building where the reception will be held. Please don t forget to mention that you belong to Mr.Matyska s wedding, you will get a discount. Hotel Tereziánsky dvůr This Hotel is regarded as one of the best in the town. Its location makes very easy to reach it. From Nové Adalbertinum it represents 5-10 minutes walk. It may be interesting for architects. Hotel Grand Fair place located 10 min walk from Nové Adalbertinum. Hotel Alessandria Traditional Hotel located 30 min walk from Nové Adalbertinum or more probably reachable by taxi. We recommend to select some Hotel situated closer to the historical centre. Hotel Černigov Traditional place located next to the train station but rather distant from Nové Adalbertinum. To go back from the party you need to take taxi. Additional information Presents By far the best present for us will be your presence at our wedding. Invitation As stated in the beginning, the printed hard copy invitation will be delivered soon to your address by post. If you have not already done so, please let us know your postal address. Food The reception will consist of several courses. The main course will be based on Czech cuisine, but during the entire reception, international food will also be available. Please let us know if you suffer from any food allergies. Duration The ceremony will start at 1 PM. We expect the beginning of reception around 3 PM.
