This page allows access to several Spectrum Health password protected areas. If you have any issues using these services, please contact the Spectrum Health Help Desk at 616.391.1361. Additional Security Measures Now in Place: In addition to a user ID and password, a second form of identity verification is required to access Spectrum Health systems from the Internet. During login, a computer generated passcode will be requested that can either be received via text message to your phone, or you have the option to install a FREE app that generates the passcode on any or all mobile devices and home computers. View instructions for what to expect when logging in remotely to Outlook Web Access, Connect, VPN and VDI systems. Read more in the "Remote Access Security" section below. Outlook Web Access (OWA) Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) is an application that allows users to check their Spectrum Health email via the Internet, without the need for Outlook software or any Spectrum Health-issued equipment. View instructions on how to access Outlook remotely. Spectrum Health Connect Connect allows users access to several web-enabled applications from anywhere with Internet access. This includes multiple device types such as a home computer, smart phone or tablet. Connect requires the ability to download and install free software to run on your choice of device. Examples of systems that are accessible include: Cerner applications Patient's clinical and demographic data through Community Care Connections Other applications available to you through your regular Spectrum Health network connection View instructions on how to access Connect remotely. Spectrum Health Virtual Desktop (VDI) (available only to select users at this time) Virtual Desktop provides remote access at any time, from anywhere with Internet access, and on many devices. It provides users with access to a Spectrum Health Windows desktop from multiple device types, such as a home computer, a smart phone or tablet. View instructions on how to connect to VDI remotely. Spectrum Health Occupational Services Instant Reporting

Spectrum Health Occupational Services Instant Reporting offers employers view-only access to worker injury online via isystoc, a web-based patient management application. Spectrum Health Occupational Services Instant Reporting supports remote viewing of patient-specific injury, treatment and drug screen information. The data is presented in an interactive, on-line environment over a secure and encrypted connection. Remote Access Security When accessing Spectrum Health systems remotely, a computer generated passcode will be required to log in. You will need to enroll via text message to your phone, or you have the option to install a FREE app that generates the passcode on any or all mobile devices and home computers. VIP Access App Download Corporate (Spectrum Health issued) Computers: The Symantec VIP Access app is available to corporate computers through the "start menu." You will have to register the VIP Access App on your corporate computer in order to receive the passcode to your device. Follow the instructions beginning with step 4 to register the app on your device. Personal Computers: Click on the link below for instructions on how to download and register the VIP Access application on your Windows or Mac computers. Mac Computer Instructions Windows Computer Instructions Mobile devices: Click on the link below for instructions on how to download and register the VIP Access application for your smartphone. Smartphone Instructions

Outlook Web Access, Connect, VPN Outlook Web Access 1. In an Internet Browser, navigate to webmail.spectrum-health.org 2. Enter your network username. 3. Enter your network password. 4. C l i c k N e x t 5. A passcode is needed in order to complete your sign in. Once you click Next, you will either get a text message with your passcode, or you will have to use the code from your VIP Access application If you have not registered to receive your passcode, you will need to click one of these links: Click here for instructions on how to register to receive the Text message code. Click here for instructions on how to register for VIP Access App on your windows computer. 6. Enter the one-time passcode. 7. Click Next. If you are unable to log in, contact the IS Help Desk at 616.391.1361.

VDI 1. In your Start menu, open VMWare Horizon View 2. Select vdi.spectrum-health.org 3. Click Connect 4. Enter your network username. 5. Enter your network password. 6. C l i c k N e x t 7. A passcode is needed in order to complete your sign in. Once you click Next, you will either get a text message with your passcode, or you will have to use the code from your VIP Access application If you have not registered to receive your passcode, you will need to click one of these links: Click here for instructions on how to register to receive the Text message code. Select the desired desktop and click Connect If you are unable to log in, contact the Help Desk at 616.391.1361.

To set up One Time Password via text message: 1) Add your mobile number to your In-Site Profile by editing your profile. 2) Navigate to the Symantec VIP Self Service Portal. 3) If you are on the Spectrum Health network, please skip to step 9 below 4) Enter your Network User ID and Password. 5) Click Sign In. 6) On the next screen if more than one phone number appears, be sure to select the radial button for your mobile number. Click Continue. 7) Enter the security code provided to you from the text on your mobile phone. NOTE: The security code comes from a six digit number, you must open your text message if needed to get the actual security code. 8) Click Sign In.

9) Select the SMS (Text Message) option by clicking on the orange SELECT button under the SMS Phone photo icon. 10) On the Credential Name field type in a name for your SMS Credential such as your name and type of phone (John s iphone for example). 11) In the Credentialed ID textbox, type in your 11 digit mobile number including the 1 and area code (1xxxxxxxxxx). 12) Click Send. This will send your device a text message containing a security code that is needed for the registration. 13) Type the six digit Symantec VIP security code from the text you received on your phone. 14) Click Submit.

NOTE: The security code comes from a six digit number, you must open your text message if needed to get the actual security code. 15) Your mobile phone is now registered. Click Sign Out to log off and exit.

To set up One Time Password via VIP Access on a mobile device: 1. Download VIP Access: a. Go to the appropriate app store on your smartphone and search for VIP Access. b. Download the application. 2. Login to the Self-Service Portal: a. Click here to go to the VIP Self-Service Portal. b. If you are on the Spectrum Health network, please skip to step 3 below. c. Use your Network username and password (this would be the same as what you use to sign in to your email or your computer) to login. d. Click Sign In. 3. Select VIP Credential a. Click Select to begin registering your VIP Credential.

4. Open the VIP Access application on your smartphone. a. In the Credential Name Field, put a simple identifier that you can remember for the device you are registering (i.e. My iphone or Smartphone ). b. Enter the Alphanumeric ID located at the top of the smartphone app, into the Credential ID field c. Launch the VIP app in your smartphone and enter in the 6-digit security code in the Security Code Field d. Once you have entered the Security Code, click Submit. You have successfully registered your device in the VIP Self Service Portal!

To set up One Time Password via VIP Access on a Mac computer: 1. Click here to go to the Symantec VIP Access site. 2. Select Download for Mac in your browser. 3. Install VIP Access. a. In your downloads, click on the VIP_Access.dmg file. b. Double click on the VIP icon to open VIP Access.

NOTE: If you get a warning message select Open. c. VIP Access will then open on your desktop. 4. Login to the Self-Service Portal. a. Click here to go to the VIP Self-Service Portal. b. If you are on the Spectrum health network, skip to step 5 below. c. Use your Network username and password (this would be the same as what you use to sign in to your email or your computer) to login. d. Click Sign In.

5. Click Select to begin registering your VIP Credential. 6. Complete the credential registration form by opening VIP Access on your Mac desktop. (Downloaded in steps 1-3.)

A. In the Credential Name Field, put a simple identifier that you can remember for the device you are registering (such as My desktop or My laptop, etc.). B. Enter the Alphanumeric ID from your VIP Access desktop application in the Credential ID field in your web browser. C. Launch the VIP Access app and enter in your unique 6-digit security code in the Security Code field. D. Once you have entered the Security Code, click Submit. You have successfully registered your device in the VIP Self Service Portal!

To set up One Time Password via VIP Access on a Windows computer: 1. Download VIP Access a. Follow this link to retrieve your VIP Access for desktop: Click here! b. Select Download for Windows c. At the bottom of the internet browser window, select Run to run the VIP Access setup install that should pop up. d. Click Next. e. Click the option to Accept the terms and click Next.

f. Click Next for the file location. g. Select Install.

h. Click Finish. i. Open VIP Access. (An icon should appear as installed on the machine).

2. Login to the Self-Service Portal: a. Click here to go to the VIP Self-Service Portal. b. If you are on the Spectrum Health network, please skip to step 3 below. c. Use your Network username and password (this would be the same as what you use to sign in to your email or your computer) to login. d. Click Sign In. 3. Select VIP Credential - Click Select to begin registering your VIP Credential.

4. Open the VIP Access application on your computer. a. In the Credential Name field, put a simple identifier that you can remember for the device you are registering (i.e. My iphone or Smartphone) b. Enter the Alphanumeric ID located at the top of the smartphone app, into the Credential ID field c. Launch the VIP app in your smartphone and enter in the 6-digit security code in the Security Code field d. Once you have entered the Security Code, click Submit.

You have successfully registered your device in the VIP Self Service Portal!
