Welcome The Medical Research Council Conference Centre hosts meetings and events in the heart of Central London. Our exclusive location in a distinctive cylindrical Richard Seifert designed Grade II listed building at One Kemble Street offers exquisite panoramic views of Londons most iconic landmarks. Our purpose is to provide exceptional conference facilities and services to the Research Councils and wider public sector research community. Our meeting rooms are free to hire and our devoted team will work with you to ensure your meeting or event runs precisely as intended. Location Bordered by the West End to one side and Midtown to the other, One Kemble Street is within walking distance of some of the capitals most renowned theatres, attractions, shops and restaurants. Meeting Rooms and Services We are far more than just picturesque views The Conference Centre offers a suite of 14 meeting rooms of different sizes and capacities. The majority of our glass fronted rooms benefit from an abundance of natural light that creates a bright and fresh ambience. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the Conference Centre To help ensure you have an exceptional experience with us, all meeting rooms: Are air conditioned with local temperature controls to ensure your comfort Have power outlets built into the tables for your convenience Have white boards and flip charts fitted as standard We stock USB chargers if you need to recharge your devices and a variety of travel adaptors if required for international guests Audio Visual Whether you need to present, videoconference*, browse the web or play videos we will accommodate with modern technological solutions. We supply fixed audio visual equipment including teleconference facilities and either flat screen or projected displays in every room, with additional sophisticated PA systems in our larger rooms. Catering We know how important high quality catering is to our customers, that s why we work with our innovative partners Baxter Storey to provide a wide range of delicious and nourishing seasonal food and beverages, freshly prepared on site by our dedicated and creative chef. Our highly professional, experienced and flexible Hospitality team will work with you to ensure you receive the service you desire, and will be delighted to design bespoke menus for you whatever your budget or dietary requirements. Everyone was helpful and efficient. The food was great and everything was delivered on time. British HIV Association I wanted to thank you very much for all your help in providing us with such a great venue for our Research Division Away Day. The Conference team made us feel very welcome and that anything we asked was no trouble to provide! British Heart Foundation We aim to ensure no food is wasted, so any food waste left is converted into biogas and liquid fertiliser by anaerobic digestion. The biogas is used to produce clean renewable electricity
