SERVICE OFFERINGS To be considered a world-class provider of training support services, a company must offer a full complement of services. CAE is just such a company, offering a comprehensive portfolio of training support services. These services include: simulator and academic instruction, courseware development, computer-based training, distance learning, simulator maintenance and operation, upgrades and modifications, training device relocation and recertification, engineering/software support, logistics support, and training requirements analysis. Following are some general descriptions of the services we offer. INSTRUCTION CAE instructors are acknowledged experts in their field, transferring their extensive skills and experience gained over many years of operational military duty to every student we train. Our instructors conduct classroom lectures, administer examinations, monitor lessons, and provide one-on-one instruction as necessary. To support dynamic and realistic simulator training, our instructors pre-brief each mission, ensure all training events are accomplished, and provide comprehensive debriefs. Following the latest educational principles and employing cognitive methods, CAE instructors help ensure that every student builds on the solid foundation of "how to" knowledge from the classroom and hands-on training in the simulator. With this training and instruction, the student will be fully prepared to master the weapon system platform. MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT CAE provides operation, maintenance, and engineering support for the full range of training equipment, from the highest fidelity motion-based full flight simulators to fixedbased part task trainers and computer-based training systems. Our technical staff provides a complete range of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure we deliver mission capable training devices in the proper configuration when and where they are scheduled. CAE s engineering professionals can modify and upgrade any training device to ensure the accurate representation of the actual weapon system. Our maintenance services help deliver the highest levels of reliability, maintainability, and availability. LOGISTICS SUPPORT CAE provides total supply and logistics support, including inventory management, lifecycle support, and hardware and software configuration management. Our support services help ensure your training devices maintain concurrency with the platforms you have deployed. We have specialists in just about every skill and discipline related to simulation and training, including visual systems, motion systems, and systems integration. Through our integrated logistics support and engineering capabilities, CAE provides customers with lower life cycle costs.
COURSEWARE CAE designs, develops, produces, and implements a full range of courseware products to support all customer training needs. We employ the latest equipment and techniques to enhance the learning experience. For example, our self-paced instruction lessons can include real-time embedded skill measurement and performance tracking. CAE is also pioneering the development of courseware using CAE Simfinity technology, which leverages the same high-fidelity simulation software found in CAE s full mission simulators. For example, we ve designed CAE Simfinity courses for the German Army to teach CH-53 aircrews engine start-up and shut-down procedures as well as electronic warfare training.
