Admission, to 1st Year Honours & Pass (Science & Arts) Courses, will be given strictly on the basis of merit and through online mode (website: www.onlineadmissionbcc.in). 2. The students who have passed the H.S./Equivalent examination from General Stream course in the year 2016 are only eligible to apply for admission. Applicants with Vocational degree at the HS level (in the year 2016) are eligible for admission to General Courses (Pass Course) only. 3. The online admission site of the College has been designed in a user-friendly way to help candidates in applying online in a step-by-step fashion. 4. For Registration visit www.onlineadmissionbcc.in and follow the steps as given below Click Admission Form Fillup (right upper corner) Fill-up the application form After filling-up the form click PROCEED Click OK to submit, or Cancel to changes Click FINAL SUBMIT (If it is ok then Click FINAL SUBMIT, if it is not ok, then click BACK to your application form and edit it duly. Once you click FINAL SUBMIT you cannot edit your application form.) You will receive your login ID and password by SMS on your specified cell number Choose Honours Course or/and General Courses Choose Honours subjects (A candidate can choose maximum 3(Three) Honours subjects) and click SUBMIT Again click Bank Portal under Payment Mode for necessary payment of Registration Fee. State Bank Collect page will open Click I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated above after going through the same and again click Proceed button. Select REGISTRATION FEE from drop down (click Select Category) from Select Payment Category A new page will appear and fill-up the form properly After filling-up the form properly, click submit button and a page will appear Again click Confirm A new page will open and make payment through Net Banking/Card Payments/ Other Payment Mode. 5. Visit www.onlineadmissionbcc.in/student_login.aspx and log in with user Name and Password (send via SMS) and click Print Application Form to take print out of the same. 6. Merit list of the applicants will be prepared on the basis of best one out of two language subjects and best three out of four elective subjects in HS 2016. For applicants with only one language subject, the marks in that language paper and best three out of the other elective subjects will be considered. If any applicant finds any mistake in the merit list or has any specific query, s/he is advised to send an e-mail to bccadmission@hotmail.com. 8. Document verification of the candidates will be done centrally at the college after completion of the entire admission process. If any mistake is found regarding their marks, caste certificate, year of passing 12th class or any other important information related to admission, their candidature will be cancelled even after the provisional admission. For such cases no money will be refunded to the candidate. The caste certificates issued by the SDO/BDO will be considered. Certificate issued on a date after the registration for admission will not be considered. 9. Applicants seeking admission to BSc Pass (Bio) will be offered Physiology, Botany and Zoology as combination subjects. Chemistry cannot be offered as a combination subject to Bio Pass students. 11. Undergraduate Courses Bachelor of Arts Honours Subjects The College offers Honours in English, Bengali, Sanskrit, Geography, Political Science, History, Economics, Philosophy and Sociology. Optional Subjects All the above subjects and Physical Education are open to be taken as combination subjects. Bengali and Sanskrit cannot be offered together as combination subjects. For Economics Honours, Mathematics as Combination Subject is compulsory.
