1 DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION GOVERNMENT OF MADHYA PRADESH, BHOPAL ONLINE OFF-CAMPUS COUNSELING MBA-2009 ADMISSION PROCEDURE The admission process involves the following eight steps: I. Document verification [for reserved category(st/sc/obc), JK(Migrant/Resident) and all Handicapped at Help Center identified by Competent Counseling Authority]. II. III. IV. Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee. Online Choice Filling and part payment of Tuition Fee. Online Allotment. V. Printing of Provisional Letter of Allotment. VI. VII. VIII. Reporting and Document Verification (Mark-sheets, Domicile if applicable) at Allotted Institutions for seeking admission. Second Round of Counseling (If seat remains vacant). Remaining seats, after counseling on the basis of Pre-MBA test, shall be filled on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. DETAILS OF REGISTRATION & PART PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES At the time of Registration Registration Fees Rs. 500/- (for UR only) and Portal Charge: 20/- (For All) At the time of preference locking Part payment of tuition Fees Rs. 9500/- (for UR only) and Portal Charge: 80/- (For All)

2 I. Document Verification During this step following original documents shall be verified by the nodal officer at the help center identified by the Competent Counseling Authority - I. Caste Certificate issued by competent authority for ST/SC/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidates of Madhya Pradesh. II. III. IV. Madhya Pradesh Domicile Certificate [excluding JK(Migrant /Resident)]. Latest Income certificate issued by competent authority for OBC candidates if OBC(excluding creamy layer) certificate is issued before 30 April JK(Migrant/Resident) certificate issued by competent authority. V. Physical Handicapped Certificate issued by competent authority Disability Certificate from the concern district medical board. Eligibility Certificate for the course from the superintendent, Government Of India, Ministry of Labour, Vocational, Rehabilitation center for Physical handicapped, Napier town, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In case a candidate by mistake applied for Physical handicapped reservation or fails to produce the necessary documents for proof of it, Candidate will have to submit the fitness (non handicapped) certificate from the medical officer for verification. If a candidate fails to present him/her self on Help Center for document verification during Document Verification because of serious illness or accident and is admitted in the hospital then his/her guardian/ parents may be permitted for the same on his/her behalf, provided the concerned candidate submits an authority letter to this effect along with a medical certificate issued by concerned Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon as a proof of illness and hospitalization. If later on, it is found that the information provided by candidate was wrong, then the admission is liable to be cancelled. After verification at the Help Center, all original documents will be return back to the candidate. Nodal Officer will issue a slip for Eligible /Non Eligible Candidates.

3 Non Eligible Candidates can come again before registration with valid required documents for eligibility. or Non Eligible Candidates can register him/her self in Un-Reserved Category. NOTE:- Candidate should produce all original documents along with complete set of photocopy at the Help Center. II. Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee During this step all reserved (Category/Class) candidates who have verified their documents and all the Un-Reserved candidates shall have to register ONLINE through website ( from a place of convenience or authorized KIOSK. The detailed procedure is described below: 1. A candidate has to open the website ( and click on Registration. 2. The candidate will register online by entering the following data from the admit card- (a) MBA Roll Number (b) Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) 3. This data submitted by the candidate will be verified with the Pre-MBA Test database of VYAPAM and if it matches then only the candidate will be permitted to proceed further for payment. 4. The system will generate a Receipt with temporary password. Candidate must change his/her default password for the security reason. The length of the password must be minimum of SIX characters, Password must be case sensitive. Next time, the candidate can login directly with Roll number and Date of Birth as login ID and the changed password, Whenever the candidates login, they have to LOGOUT at the end. Candidates are advised to record/remember their password for all future Logins. Confidentiality of the password is the sole responsibility of the candidate and its security must be ensured. Candidates are advised not to disclose or share their password with anybody. Neither Competent Counseling Authority nor MPOnline is responsible for violation or misuse of the password of the candidate.

4 If a candidate forgets his/her password, the additional information provided by the candidate at the time of registration will be used to get the new password. Hence, every candidate has to enter the required additional information as indicated in the registration form at the time of registration. A candidate can change his/her password after login, if desired. III. Online Choice Filling and Part Payment of Tuition Fee During this step all the registered candidates are required to exercise their choices of institutions in the order of preference. The detailed procedure is described below: 1. Candidate must select at least one choice and he/she can give as many numbers of choices in the order of preference as he/she wishes from the list of available institutes. 2. The candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier ones and add new choices any number of times until they lock (make payment) their choices. 3. Once Candidate locks his/her choice preferences and makes the payment, the system will generate an Acknowledgement/Receipt mentioning the list of choices in the same order, now candidate cannot change his/her choice preferences. IV. Online Allotment The choices submitted by the candidates will be processed centrally as per MBA-2009 rule and the results will be available on the website ( V. Printing of Provisional Letter of Allotment Candidate can take the printout of provisional letter of allotment from the website ( VI. Reporting and Document Verification Successful candidate shall have to report to the allotted institute for admission and present the required original documents for verification. The list of required original documents are- Mark-Sheet of graduation/post Graduation [ Candidate should be a Graduate or post Graduate with at least 50% marks ( for example 750 marks obtained out of 1500 marks, rounding of marks or percentage will not be allowed ) and 40%

5 marks ( for example 600 marks obtained out of 1500 marks, rounding of marks or percentage will not be allowed ) in case of SC,ST,OBC category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institution recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor s degree must be minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent.) Madhya Pradesh Domicile Certificate (if applicable) Candidate must have to prove his/her date of birth from relevant mark sheet during qualifying examination based counseling. The detailed procedure for Reporting and Document Verification shall be- 1. Institute authorized officers shall verify original documents & return to the candidate s, will also confirm the same online by entering its password. 2. If Candidate found Eligible, then candidate enter his/her password by himself/herself to confirm the Reporting for admission. 3. Institute authorized verifying officer have to give generated admission slip with the signature to the candidate. 4. If Candidate found Not Eligible, verifying officer have to give generated Not Eligible slip with the signature to the candidate. 5. Not Reported candidate s seat will be treated as vacant seat. VII. Second Round of Counseling (If seats remain vacant) Following candidate can participate in second round of counseling: 1. Candidate who has not participated in first round of counseling can register for second round of counseling. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 520/- (for UR only) and Rs. 20/- (for SC/ST/OBC only) fee for registration and Rs. 9580/- (for UR only) and Rs. 80/- (for SC/ST/OBC only) fee for online choice filling & preference selection. 2. Candidates who have not fill their choice of institution in I-Phase of counseling due to any reason; can proceed for online choice filling & preference selection. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 9580/-

6 (for UR only) and Rs. 80/- (for SC/ST/OBC only) fee only, they need not to pay part payment of tuition fees. 3. Candidate, who has filled their choices but not got any allotment during previous round of counseling, can proceed for online choice filling & preference selection. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 280/- (for UR/OBC only) and Rs. 180/- (for SC/ST only) fee only, they need not to pay part payment of tuition fees. 4. Candidate, who has not reported during previous round of counseling, can proceed for online choice filling & preference selection. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 1280/- (for UR/OBC only) and Rs. 180/- (for SC/ST only) fee only, they need not to pay part payment of tuition fees. 5. Candidates who have got cancelled their admission in previous round of counseling, can proceed for online choice filling & preference selection. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 1280/- (for UR/OBC only) and Rs. 180/- (for SC/ST only) fee only, they need not to pay part payment of tuition fees. 6. Candidates who have taken admission in the institution can also register for up-gradation of online choice; can proceed for choice filling & preference selection. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 1280/- (for UR/OBC only) and Rs. 180/- (for SC/ST only) fee only, they need not to pay part payment of tuition fees. For up-gradation candidate can fill up to maximum 10 number of choice. Once candidate gets up-graded their choice, they have to take admission in up-graded institution and their previous admission will be cancelled automatically. VIII. Remaining seats, after counseling on the basis of Pre-MBA test, shall be filled on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Schedule of the counseling shall be declared separately. Process 1. Candidate will have to submit online application form as per schedule and proceed for payment of online application fees. DETAILS OF ONLINE APPLICATION FEES At the time of submission of online application Application Fees Rs. 500/- (for UR only) and Portal Charge: 50/- Application Fees Rs. 250/- (for ST/SC/OBC) and Portal Charge: 50/-

7 2. Candidate will get print out of payment receipt with Roll Number. Roll number will also be sent to the candidate through SMS or After getting roll number candidate can participate for counseling as per schedule. 4. Remaining process will be same as above for the counseling.
