SMART AND SKILLED COURSE INFORMATION BSB30912 CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (EDUCATION) This course is available as both as qualification and a traineeship in the following areas of NSW: Far West and Orana Mid North Coast If you are interested in enrolling in this course, there are a few things that you need to do: 1. Go to the Smart and Skilled website www.smartandskilled.nsw.gov.au to find out about eligibility requirements. 2. Read through the Smart and Skilled Course Information booklet and then this Specific Course Information Booklet. 4. Complete the Eligibility Form and send it to us by email or fax (details are on the form). We will get back to you within 48 hours and let you know if you are eligible or not. The student fee for this course Certificate III in Business Admnistration (Education), is $1720, and the duration is 12 months. You will be expected to complete approx. 1 unit of competency every 3 weeks 1 month, however exact timeframes are up to you. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of administrative competencies in an educational or school support work context, using some discretion and judgement. Fees, Charges and Refunds This course is not eligible for VET FEE-HELP Student Fee: $1720 for the first qualification, $2060 for the second and subsequent qualification Course Duration - 12 months. Payment Plan Either pay the full amount on enrolment or, 50% on enrolment 25% when Unit 6 is issued to you 25% when the last unit is issued. Your certificate will not be issued until you have paid the full fee. If you are eligible for any Credit Transfers or Recognition of Prior Learning, the Student Fee will be recalculated and you will be notified before you enrol. Refunds If you wish to receive a refund for withdrawal, or transfer, you MUST submit a formal request, using the application for Refund form on our website. Refunds will be issued as per the following process: You will be refunded for any Unit of Competency that you have paid for, but not yet received. For example: If you pay 50% of the student fee up front for a course with 13 units of competency and decide to withdraw after you have received unit 2, you would submit your form and receive: Student fee divided by the number of units = Unit of competency cost $1720 / 13 = $132.31 per unit of competency If you paid up front ($1720), your refund would be $1455.41 (11 units not issued) If you paid 50% up front ($860), your refund would be $396.931 (3 units not issued) If you are enrolling as a Trainee and your employer is paying the Fee, the same process applies..
