To our main activities belong regeneration of seats for refurbished railway cars and production of new seats for all means of mass rail transport. We have extensive experience in supplying such companies as ALSTOM, Arlanda Express or PKP (Polish State Railways), major rolling stock constructors (PESA Holding S.A., H. Cegielski S.A.) and refurbishers ZNTKs. We can also be proud of bulk supplies for Swedish Railways through EuroMaint Rail AB/SJ or Norwegian Railways through NSB/BTN. Apart from the abovementioned activity, our company also specializes in designing, production and installation of seats for theatres, cinemas and auditorium halls. TAPS is a private enterprise owned by Mr. and employs 138 persons with a 4.77 million annual turnover (2008). Railway Sleeping Cars
I. WL (in operation of PKP WARS/Intercity S.A. Coaches with sleeping places, containing 10 compartments. TAPS ensures both their production and remodelling. Each compartment is equipped with three (2nd class) or two couches (1st class): top, mid, bottom. Mid and upper ones with special passenger safety rails; two folding/unfolding mechanisms: 1. mechanical based on two mechanical springs 2. automatic based on a gas spring Safety railing for WL TAPS law protected patent Placed alongside the couch, it is easy to unfold when passengers wish to sleep
II. Berths (in operation of PKP Intercity) Each coach contains 9 or 10 compartments 6 berths for each compartment: double top, double mid, double bottom Day trip allows the bottom ones to be seats while the mid berths fold as backrests Couches are soft: foam PUR, upholstered Couches: foam PUR, upholstered, all attached within a wooden box
