5 Higher Education State Higher Vocational School School offers professional studies in ten departments within four institutes. Studies at PWSZ last six or seven semesters depending on a major and curriculum. Undergraduate students obtain a Licentiate Degree. Students may study full- time or part- time. Students have an option to continue their studies and obtain MA Degree at University of Szczecin that cooperates with PWSZ (MA in Management, Administration and Education). INSTITUTE OF ECONOMY: Management of small and medium business Accounting and finance management Computer science in management Tourism management and organization INSTITUTE OF HUMANITITES: Polish Language Studies Education (Childcare Education, Preprimary Education, Social Work education) German Language Studies INSTITUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Public administration European administration INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: Computer science Mechanics and machine building There are also three additional centers that cooperate directly with the Institutes: Foreign Language Center, Computer Science Center, Physical Education Center Academy of Physical Education The Academy offers studies in the following faculties: Physical Education, Tourism and Recreation and Physiotherapy. So far, over 5000 students graduated the Academy, among them Olympic Games medalists (Tomasz Kucharski, Andrzej Wroński, Ryszard Wolny, Włodzimierz Zawadzki), Word champions (Maciej Grubski, Dariusz Jabłoński), well know coaches, politicians and journalists. Some of the post graduate courses are sports management and Professional couching in many disciplines. Higher School of Business in Gorzów Wlkp. Higher School of Business provides undergraduate courses in management. The courses are for weekend. Each course offers attractive majors. Moreover, the majors are further expanded with specializations. Undergraduates are awarded a bachelor s degree. Apart from the bachelor s diploma (which indicates the major and specialization taken), the undergraduates receive a document acknowledging the completed specialization in a selected range. Not only are students provided with specialist tutoring, but practical skills as well. The quality of services rendered gets top priority, as it is where the school gains prestige among its customers and local employers. Direct contacts between the teaching staff and the students create a climate of mutual confidence and understanding. Among its faculty and students, and with the external environment, the school propagates such relations that Gould Rest on respect, tolerance and human dignity. The didactic offer is dynamic so that the school could rightly and timely react to the labor market.
