Overview Kaspersky Password Manager is a new multi-platform freemium solution which securely and conveniently stores and syncs all passwords and personal data, quickly logging users on to websites, generating strong passwords (for Windows PCs only) and filling in web forms automatically. The core features are equivalent to the current version of Kaspersky Password Manager with the following new enhancements: - Support of multiple platforms: Windows, Mac OS, ios, Android - Synchronization of data across your devices. Note: The option of transferring passwords and data from one PC to another by copying them to an external document as presented in Kaspersky PURE.0 and KPM 5.0 has been replaced with the use of synchronization to exchange all necessary information across computers and mobile devices. That s why the portable version of Kaspersky Password Manager, stored on a USB stick, was also removed. All features in Kaspersky Password Manager are available for free, but there are restrictions on their use: Free - 5 accounts registered in the program - identity card Premium (-year license) - No limitations on the number of accounts and identity cards After the program license expires, you can choose 5 accounts and one identity card which you want to continue using (editing/syncing across devices) and the rest of your data becomes inactive. Inactive data remains visible you can still see these accounts and identity cards, but cannot use or sync them. Alternatively, you can edit/remove them. To install Kaspersky Password Manager it is obligatory to register a Kaspersky Account. Where to get Kaspersky Password Manager: o As a standalone solution: From the US and UK websites From Google Play (as Android version) From AppStore (as ios version) From Kaspersky Protection Center Please note: The new multi-platform standalone Kaspersky Password Manager isn t yet built to sync with the Kaspersky Password Manager module in Kaspersky PURE 3.0. Users should create a new Kaspersky Account for the new KPM and reenter all passwords and data into the program. Users can also transfer saved passwords and data to the new Kaspersky Password Manager on all devices by importing data files from the Kaspersky PURE 3.0 folder on the computer. The new multi-platform KPM works differently on mobile devices. It is not possible to auto-login to websites on mobile devices unless you go through the KPM interface. There is also no auto-login to apps on mobile devices. You can use app accounts on mobile devices as a reminder of your credentials.

Feature Descriptions Feature Feature Description and User Benefits Web credentials Types of data stored Kaspersky Password Manager securely stores your web credentials (login and password for websites). These web credentials are needed to authorize your access to certain websites or online accounts. With each subsequent visit to the site on your Windows PC or Mac the program will input these credentials automatically. As for mobile devices the credentials will be entered automatically when you browse saved web pages or accounts inside the program. Kaspersky Password Manager can store credentials for several user names you can either choose the main user name for automatic authorization (e.g., the name used most frequently) or manually choose which user name you need to access each website. App credentials Kaspersky Password Manager also works with popular apps which require authorization and stores your app credentials (logins and passwords). 3 Identities 4 Notes Passwords and data sync across all devices Kaspersky Password Manager stores your identities in a convenient form on an identity card. This may include: your full name, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, country of residence, credit card or bank account numbers, etc. You can store notes on your Windows PC in our pre-designed templates such as forms for software licenses, credit cards, passport details or driver s license information and more. Or you can create freeform notes reminders, notes, quotes or whatever you need. For Mac and mobile devices you can only create freeform notes. Management of Passwords and Personal Data Kaspersky Password Manager can synchronize all your passwords and personal data between your Windows PC, Mac, smartphone or tablet. Every time you launch Kaspersky Password Manager or add new records, the program automatically syncs all passwords and personal data and delivers all updates to each device. An Internet connection is required to sync passwords and data. You can easily view, create, change and delete accounts, identities, and secure memos on every device. The sync status is displayed on the main window. You will always have access to all the personal information you need and have a convenient login to your favorite websites and apps directly from the device that you are using at the moment. 3 Automatic import of passwords from browsers and apps Auto-login to websites Note: On mobile devices the auto-login only works via the program interface. Kaspersky Password Manager securely stores all your web credentials (logins and passwords). When first launched, Kaspersky Password Manager automatically imports all your logins/passwords from the web browser (available only on Windows PC and Mac computer). You can add other logins/passwords manually at any time. On each subsequent visit to the site Kaspersky Password Manager will insert those credentials automatically (available only on Windows PC or Mac). On Windows PC and Mac you can automatically login to your accounts without inputting your credentials. On mobile devices you can only automatically log in to the accounts when browsing

a webpage from within Kaspersky Password Manager. Just tap on the account you want to open. Note: If you open a web browser on your mobile device outside of Kaspersky Password Manager, your credentials won t be automatically entered and you won t be invited to save any new credentials. Auto-login to apps On Windows PC and Mac you can automatically log on to your app accounts in apps without inputting your credentials. 4 On mobile devices Kaspersky Password Manager can be used only as a convenient reminder of your login and password, if you have forgotten them. There is no auto - login in apps on mobile devices. Note: you can t use the program to automatically login into the accounts on your mobile device. If you open a new app your credentials won t be automatically entered and you won t be invited to save any new credentials. 5 6 7 8 Autocompletion of registration forms Automatic online backup for passwords and data Quick launch button Remote license management When a website contains registration forms (e.g., registering a new account, payment details, flight check-in, etc.), Kaspersky Password Manager allows long registration forms to be completed automatically based on an Identity containing personal data. The program displays an available Identity which you create in advance. Several identity cards can be used to store business and personal information separately. Kaspersky Password Manager will remember your answers and complete lengthy forms for you, so you don t have to fill all the information manually. The product also allows a specific card to be selected as a default card, or the required card can be chosen from a list. Note: auto-filling works only for Windows PCs and Macs. On a mobile device you can only view all the data on the identity card. Kaspersky Password Manager automatically creates a backup copy of the password database every time it is modified and stores it in the cloud and on the device. You can easily restore your passwords and data if the current database or device has been damaged. For your computer there is a Password Manager launch button that can be used to conveniently manage passwords directly from the website or app. When clicking the quick launch button you see a short menu with the following options: - fast search and access to the necessary account; - choice and activation of identity card to auto-fill information on a registration form; - quick addition of new passwords or data; While installing Kaspersky Password Manager you need to register a Kaspersky Account, which enables you to benefit from the Kaspersky Protection Center. After signing in to the Kaspersky Protection Center, you can: - see the list of devices on which Kaspersky Password Manager is installed (if they re connected to KPC) - remotely manage the license buy or renew it. - see information about your license when it was activated, when it will expire, which devices are covered, etc. High-Level Protection Master Password The master password is the only password you need to remember. Your master password is created when you first use the program and is used every time you enter

3 4 Virtual Keyboard Encryption of passwords and data Password generator User-friendly interface Auto update with latest technologies Support for platforms Support for popular web browsers Kaspersky Password Manager. It is used to encrypt the vault with your passwords and data. We recommend choosing a complicated password containing upper- and lower-case letters, symbols and numbers. Kaspersky Password Manager doesn t store the master password in the local or online vault, so you need to remember it. A keylogger is a malicious program that tracks the sequence of keystrokes on the keyboard in order to capture personal information, such as passwords. Kaspersky Virtual Keyboard can be launched when entering Kaspersky Password Manager, effectively protecting your master password and the passwords and data vault inside. For Windows PCs only. It is not unusual for passwords automatically saved by Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox to be stored in an unencrypted format, making them easily accessible to cybercriminals. Kaspersky Password Manager stores all passwords and other personal information in a secure, encrypted database on your computer or mobile device and syncs them across all devices. This database can only be decrypted using a master password, which ensures security and prevents your information from being stolen by cybercriminals. Kaspersky Password Manager includes a special password generator on Windows PCs to help you to create strong and unique passwords that are difficult for cybercriminals to crack. You can always see the history of passwords created. Other Kaspersky Password Manager has a familiar look and feel for each platform, so you feel comfortable using the program on every device. The interface design is fresh and intuitive. The main window provides quick access to all key options. There is also a quick launch button available on your computer from the web browser. While using Kaspersky Password Manager you can create groups for different types of entries: e.g., passwords for social networks or email addresses, bank accounts or e-shops, etc. Whenever an upgrade to Kaspersky Password Manager is released for any device, you will be prompted to install the latest version. Again, it s quick and easy. Compatibility The program supports the following platforms and devices: - Windows-based computers (including Windows 8), - Mac OS X 0.6 0.8 - ios (starting from 5.), - Android-based smartphones and tablets (Android.. 4.) Kaspersky Password Manager supports automatic password backup and autocomplete features for popular web browsers on your computer, such as: Microsoft Internet Explorer (from version 8 to the latest), Mozilla Firefox (from version 4.0 to the latest), Google Chrome (from version.x to the latest), Safari for Mac

Glossary Identity is your personal data, including personal, financial and business information such as name, last name, date of birth, contacts and so on. Your identity card has pre-defined fields for each type of information. You can create several identity cards perhaps to separate business and personal information so during the registration process you only need to choose the appropriate card and use it to auto-fill the fields on the registry form. Kaspersky Account is used to synchronize your passwords and data across every device, and also to access Kaspersky Protection Center. When Kaspersky Password Manager is first launched, it requires users to create or sign in to a Kaspersky Account. Kaspersky Protection Center is a unified web portal from which you can remotely manage of all your devices and the Kaspersky Lab products on them. You can purchase or renew the license for Kaspersky Password Manager directly from Kaspersky Protection Center. You have to use your Kaspersky Account credentials to access Kaspersky Protection Center. Password Sync is needed to ensure passwords and data are the same on different devices. This feature requires an Internet connection. Thanks to Password Sync, you not only have up-to-date passwords and data on every device but can also restore passwords and data if a device is lost or replaced. Password vault is the secured database where Kaspersky Password Manager stores all your passwords and data. The passwords and data in the vault are encrypted and access to this vault is protected by the master password.
