The Erasmus+ Mobility Tool Web based platform to manage and report on mobility projects, used by beneficiaries of mobility projects. This is to include, - Information of projects - Participants and mobility details - Budget information for funding and finance Information used by the Erasmus commission to monitor and validate mobility information. 3
Managing Mobility Beneficiaries are generally Higher Education organisations participating in Erasmus. Most of which will also participate in other international activities and programmes. We find that many institutions have a de centralised approach to managing mobilities and partnerships, generally data is compiled in multiple spreadsheets and CRM systems. Making data collection difficult and time consuming, often leads to inaccuracy of data. 4
Using the Erasmus Mobility Tool For those who identify to these challenges they often find that data input into the tool can be labour intensive. Challenges include, It can be time consuming identifying and entering required partner information and Erasmus codes Collating information from across the institution Calculating funding formulae's Organising data in the correct format Keeping abreast of frequent changes and revision of new specification Data can be duplicated and manual updating of data changes are often required 5
Mobility Tool interface MoveON provides an online (SaaS) solution to help the international office better manage mobility and partnership activity. Northumbria University future use In 2016/17 the system will be used to provide data to upload to the Mobility Tool Using MoveON to track all staff mobility across the University Partnerships extended to Academic Registry RBS/IDO using MoveON for tracking external funding bids (e.g. RISE) with multiple external partners Increased use of Publishers including travel reports 11
