We are funded by generous donations from our employees, community leaders and organizations in Oklahoma City. - See more at: http://www.metrotech.edu/about-metro-tech/get-involved/metro-tech-foundation#sthash.4x01nq8x.dpuf Board Chair Statement It wasn't until I was asked to serve on the foundation board that I learned about Metro Tech's Career Academy. At the time, we were desperately looking for the right alternative to help my daughter complete high school. She had spent four years attending three different high schools, and still had not found the right fit. She seemed to be a square peg that could not fit into the traditional round hole. She flourished at Metro Tech where the teachers and staff were always glad to see her, rather than reminding her of every absence or tardy. They applauded her every success and helped her quickly move past each failure. Thanks to Metro Tech, she completed high school and is on track to have great success in the culinary field.
