Star System Salon Management Software Powerful Effective Easy to Use

Comprehensive Solution Client Management Point of Sale Inventory Control Purchasing Sales History Client Marketing Appointment Scheduling Payroll & Commissions Accounts Payable & Banking General Ledger Cash Drawer Prescriptions

Star System Easy Ticket graphical user interface features point & click ease of use

Fast client lookup

One click to find a client One click to enter a service One click to enter a product That s how easy it is to use the Star System Easy Ticket

The buttons on the left side of the screen make entering a service a snap. There are 18 buttons which are automatically labeled with your services. Just click on the button of your choice. Clicking the More button displays the next set of 18 services. (Dependent of course on how many services you set up in your system)

Clicking the Retail button, labels the buttons with the names of your retail brands. Click a Brand button and the products in that brand are displayed in a window (see next picture).

To enter an individual item, select it from the list by clicking on it

Service Charts provide a quick way to add multiple services to a ticket. Select the Service Group. Select the employee. Check the services you want to add.

The Quick Order Form for products makes adding multiple products to a ticket fast and easy. Select the employee. Select the Manufacturer Group. Enter the quantity of an item purchased in the Quantity Purchased field.

Press the Payments button to collect the client s payment.

The following is a copy of a Point of Sale receipt:

Special Features: Check out multiple tickets all at one time (ideal for handling a family of customers) Tracks gift certificates, always know the outstanding balance of all gift certificates Accommodates electronic gift cards Check out a package of services (such as a Day of Beauty) in just one entry crediting multiple employees The Star System can process your credit card transactions directly, eliminating double entry and unnecessary extra equipment Tracks sessions (both individual and unlimited), useful for services such as tanning

This is example of entering a client s purchase of an Unlimited Session package. This package is set to run for 30 days. The start date and end date are clearly displayed. If you manually change the start date, a new end date is automatically recalculated.

This screen is a client purchase inquiry. It lists a client s purchases, from most recent to oldest. In this case, it shows a redemption of an unlimited session and then the purchase of unlimited session package. The date range of the purchase of the unlimited session package is displayed for easy reference.

Easy Ticket tracks tips. Tips may be entered for up to three different employees on each ticket.

This screen shows how tip totals are easily view by employee. The second screen shows how the detail behind the totals is also available for viewing.

Sales totals by employee can be viewed easily. And again the detail behind the totals is viewable as well.

This is an example of a ticket inquiry.

People make mistakes. Easy Ticket easily lets you correct those mistakes. Once a service or product is entered, click the edit check box in the item review window and it is displayed in an edit window. Change the employee, the quantity, the price, the discount. Or just delete the entry. Mistakes are easily corrected.

This screen demonstrates how inventory is put into inventory.

This is the employee screen.

Commissions are set by individual employee. For services and retail it is possible to have as many as 6 stair steps of rates.

To facilitate quick check out of retail products, even if they do not come barcoded by the manufacturer, the Star System prints product labels with barcodes for you. Put these labels are your products and use a bar code scanner for easy, quick entry.

Appointment Scheduling is also as easy as point & click Step 1: Pick a date on the calendar

This opens a window into a page of the appointment book providing a look at five employees for one day.

With higher resolution computer monitors, the appointment book can be set to display six hours at a glance.

With the use of a very high resolution monitor, appointments for 10 columns of employees may be displayed at one time.

Step 2: Click on a time slot to book an appointment Lookup the client Select the services Click OK

Clicking the Search by Stylist button provides a different view into the appointment book. One employee for five days.

Both views into the appointment book contain many helpful features. Press the left arrow or right arrow at the bottom of the screen to scroll left and right. In the first view, this displays the next or previous employee. In the second view, the next or previous day. The 5 arrow displays five new or previous employees or days. The vertical scroll bar causes the page to scroll up and down through the time slots. There is a block-out feature that blackens a specific time slot when you wish to block out a certain time. Appointments have application time (marked in yellow) and processing time (marked in purple). Processing time are slots which may be doubled booked. In the first view, appointments for any five employees may be displayed, not just five consecutive employee numbers. Just select in the list box the employees appointment to be shown. This facilitates booking clients with multiple employees. The employee s schedules amy be shown side by side.

Managing employee waiting lists is an important feature of the appointment system

The appointment system helps find the first available time slot to meet a client s needs

This is a partial view of a report listing a stylist s daily appointments

Work schedules support the appointment scheduling system. Here days closed/days off are setup for the salon and employees. Also the normal working hours are established.

Revised Work Schedules are changes to the normal work schedule to be recorded. All of this information allows even a novice to properly schedule an appointment. The work of remembering important details is left to the system, not the worker.

The Star System keeps comprehensive data on each client

This is a data card with one entry. There is no limit to the number of entries the system can hold.

An unlimited number of services may be setup in the system.

A major feature is the Kit which lets you sell a package of services as one transaction, such as a Day of Beauty. A kit contains up to 24 different services, each of which may be credited to a different employee.

Password protection for every item on the Easy Ticket menu is provided. You choose which items should have password security and set the passwords.

Star Easy Sales Management provides an analysis of your business. It provides insightful online view and printed reports on the productivity of: employees, products and services.

This is an example of an Employee Service Sales Comparison

This is an example of an Employee Retail Sales Comparison

A variety of sales reports are available for analysis of your business.

This is a Sales Report by Employee showing sales summarized by Service & Retail.

This Sales/Client Analysis report provides sales totals and productivity ratios.

The Tickets Register report provides daily totals. It can also be run for any date range or period of time. Page 1 is a list of tickets.

Page 2 of the Tickets Register provides financial totals.

Page 3 of the Tickets Register breaks totals down by employee. Page 4 of the Tickets Register breaks totals down by product category.

The Stylist Daily Report recaps an employee s sales for the day

The Sales by Date report provides daily totals over a range of dates.

Star Easy Marketing is a powerful program that creates targeted group of clients who share the same characteristics. The following 24 characteristics can be mixed and matched together to select clients by.

Client information may be outputted as mailing labels, as a list or stored in a file on disk. Star Easy Marketing s built in email marketing capabilities make it easy to broadcast an email message to a targeted group of clients
