P65 5. Selection Method Applicants will be screened and selected based upon the documents they submit. If it is deemed necessary, additional documents or information may be required of applicants on a case-by-case basis. A face-to-face interview or written examination may also be required of applicants. About students working part-time Students who intend to do part-time work whilst studying at our university, are first required to familiarize themselves with general knowledge about Japanese society and customs, with the support of the Extension Center and/or a faculty member. Students must complete this familiarization period which takes at least three months. They can then apply for part-time work. 6.
