1 Program Value Project/Programme Cycle Management (PCM) is the method employed by NGO s, UN agencies, not-for-profit organizations for the management of their projects and programmes. Learning PCM is important for submitting successful proposal and solicitation of funding from donors worldwide. PCM seminar will equip the participants with enhanced designing and management tools to tailor projects more adequately to meet the needs of the beneficiaries. This course will help you to: Better understand NGO s, UN agencies, and global Not-for Profit Organizations quality requirements for project/ programme proposals. Familiarise the participants with the use of Logical Frameworks and its application in different phases of the project cycle. Familiarise the participants with relevant terminology. Improve participants monitoring and Evaluation skills. Understand and prepare high-standard logical frameworks. Identify and formulate projects through a participatory approach. Improve the participant s skill in writing sound project documents. Improve the quality of the project documents. Participatory training techniques, real cases studies and group exercises are used extensively, each session containing a group exercise and plenary discussion. 6 Fees & Logistics 6.1 Dates & Times Method s PCM Training usually starts on a Sunday (on the dates mentioned below). The program will run over three consecutive weeks, Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 to 7:00 PM, making a total of 15 sessions (five days a week for three weeks). Total program duration is 60 hours. Upcoming Run: From Apr 12 th to Apr 30 th, 2009 6.2 Venue The training will be held at the brand new state of the art training facilities of GURUS Inc., the professional service training firm at Abu Al Haj complex, 8 th Floor.
