BA (Hons) Business Administration Top-up The Business Administration Top-up is ideal for those students studying an EDEXCEL HND in Business. It provides students with an excellent opportunity to study the core disciplines of business including marketing, human resources, finance and operations management. An elective choice is available and allows you to specialise in a particular area of business if you wish. Prospective applicants please note that the English language components of this top-up course are intended to benefit those students where English is not their first language. Prospective applicants whose first language is English, may find themselves better suited to the BA (Hons) Business Administration top-up course. Applicants should normally have successfully completed a Foundation degree or HND in the area of Business and Management or an alternative programme of study equivalent in level and content to the first two years of a University of Plymouth Business and Management Bachelor degree i.e. levels 4 and 5. This completed programme of study should normally have included modules in at least three of the following areas: Economics, Human Resource Management or Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, Accounting or Finance. Applicants for this programme require a level of proficiency in the English language equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in the or TOEFL 550 (paper-based test) or 80 (internet-based test) and may be required to provide certificated evidence of achievement.
