In the course of centuries the cellar, built at the beginning of the 15th century, was owned by kings, sovereigns, princes and generals. Its imposing knights' hall is the largest underground hall of this wine region and this is where the orders elected János Szapolyai the king of Hungary in 1526. The visit in the Rákóczi Cellar will be followed by a 3-course dinner in the Hotel Millennium's Restaurant. DINNER IN THE KOVÁCS CELLAR IN TARCAL Date and time: 24 April, 2010 19.00 The owners of the Cellar have been dealing with wine growing since 1968 in form of a family enterprise. The area of their vinery is part of the world heritage.
