Improved Access The ease with which people can schedule and join events is a key factor in the adoption and success of conferencing in an enterprise. Interwise Connect V7 makes it easier than ever to set up and participate in conference calls, web meetings, video conferences and large online events. Building on its unique, user-centric conferencing model, where each user of the system has a personalized, persistent conferencing address eliminating the need to remember constantly-changing event codes Interwise Connect V7 includes a number of access improvements: Streamlined event entry process, with one-click entry into events. Enhanced Microsoft Outlook Add-in for scheduling and managing events. Enhancements include: o Full support for creating and editing recurring meetings and events o Ability to invite participants using Outlook distribution lists o Ability to delegate authority in Outlook for scheduling meetings o The ability to convert existing Outlook appointments to Interwise imeetings o A Join event button in Outlook for one-click entry into scheduled events o A built-in button to display event dial-in instructions My Interwise, a personal, persistent meeting room address for both Web and voice conferences. My Interwise removes the need to remember constantly-changing event codes, and gives users a link that they can put on their business cards, in their e-mail signatures and in instant messages to invite others to unlimited, reservationless meetings. Enhanced interactive voice response (IVR) capabilities for users dialing in. Interwise's built-in IVR system may be personalized for a customer's needs. Options and voice instructions may be tailored for an organization's requirements. Support for the Firefox browser Expanded, configurable options for handling users' diverse browser security settings Better User Experience Interwise has been consistently recognized for offering one of the best and most reliable in-meeting experiences of any conferencing solution. Interwise Connect V7 builds on this record of success by further streamlining and enhancing the quality of the experience for participants. Enhancements include: One client application for both participants and moderators o Adapts to the user s role automatically, offering additional capabilities to event moderators, such as the ability to recognize speakers, mute participants, launch polls and surveys, hold private conversations with other moderators, view and control a participant's desktop, insert event materials on-the-fly, etc.

Enhanced audio quality o Improved clarity of telephone audio, already judged the best in the industry by NetworkWorld and other experts o Improved automatic gain control enhances voice clarity and helps reduce background noise o Prioritization of VoIP audio to ensure continuous high voice quality while sharing documents and applications Breakout Session support o Moderators can place participants into fully-interactive parallel sessions, with integrated phone support, and bring them back to the main meeting any time, without disconnecting them from the event. This is useful for all-hands meetings with team or departmental breakouts; partner and sales enablement; focused training and individual help; and many other purposes o Enhanced GUI enables easy management of breakout sessions and selection of participants New Materials Editor provides the most precise and powerful tool available for managing rich content for online meetings and events and sophisticated editing of event recordings. Enhanced Security As an on-premise solution seamlessly linked to Interwise's Global Expressway, Interwise provides the highest level of security for voice, Web and video conferences. With Interwise Connect, all conferencing traffic, materials and other sensitive information can stay entirely behind the firewall, and end-to-end encryption ensures the privacy of your data. Interwise Connect V7 builds on our past security strength with several enhancements, including: Private (closed) Meetings o Private Meetings are open to invited users only, and each user must authenticate using an individual user ID and password o Applies to both voice and web conferencing meetings and events. Both phone and VoIP users must log on using individual IDs and passwords SSL (HTTPS) support for all Interwise-delivered web pages (Interwise Communication Center, overview pages, etc.) protects the data on these pages from unauthorized access. Expanded password policy support o Rules for expiration, character composition, and more Enhanced reverse proxy support Provides secure participation for external participants o All Interwise components include native support for reverse proxy challenge/response dialog and maintaining session credentials o Interwise servers can differentiate between internal and external addresses, and automatically generate the correct links in invitation e-mails o Packaged services offering facilitates implementation Improved Performance

Interwise Connect V7 raises the bar even higher for performance over IP networks with several architectural enhancements, including: Unique blended deployment option: Seamlessly links the customer's on-premise deployment with the Interwise Global Expressway, a global hosted conferencing service. Blended deployment overcomes the limitations of both purely on-site and purely-hosted solutions, offering: o The security, cost savings, integration and control of an on-premise solution; and o The rapid start-up, geographic coverage, overflow and fail-over protection of a global hosted service. Increased support for network Quality-of-Service (QoS) o Port-based QoS support gives enterprises the ability to define policies that give priority to Interwise network traffic o Ability to prioritize events to run over MPLS networks to the extent of available bandwidth, then overflow to non-mpls connections and the Interwise Global Expressway Industry-leading bandwidth efficiency o Voice Activity Detection for PCs and phones: Eliminates the transmission of data during silence. Can reduce bandwidth > 50% compared with other solutions o Distributed server architecture with a single stream between servers per event. Greatly reduces network bandwidth. o Reduction in bandwidth to 35Kbps for VoIP participants and 5 Kbps for TDM telephone users Expanded Integration Interwise has been recognized by IDC and other industry experts as a leader in integration with enterprise IT and telephony infrastructures. With dozens of integrated enterprise deployments, including a 200,000+ user LDAP implementation and on-site telephony integration for tens of thousands of users worldwide, Interwise Connect V7 continues to extend the state of the art for integrated conferencing: Enhanced Lotus Notes Connector supports Lotus Notes release 6.5, one-click event entry, integrated event materials upload, automatic support for non-notes participants (appointment sent as standard.vcs file, ability to convert any invitation received from a non-notes organizer into a Notes meeting) and native design template inheritance. New and enhanced Integration Services packages: o LDAP/Active Directory support for hundreds of thousands of records, incremental synchronization, significant improvements in the synchronization speed
