The Accenture Cloud PaaS Implementation Service will be tailored to the specific G-Cloud II requirements but may include any of the following Platform as a Services (PaaS) components: PaaS Strategy: help define a strategy for transitioning development towards PaaS, whether for applications, integration or security. The strategy would include identifying specific opportunities and possible roadmaps. This can include a suitability assessment of migration to cloud for an application portfolio as well as help compare and contrast PaaS vendors for a particular PaaS area (application, integration, security, etc.). PaaS Pilots: helping to setup parallel pilot projects as well as doing actual cost comparison analysis based on the different pricing models as part of the pilots. PaaS Implementation / Setup: provide resources to help setup and configure the AWS Beanstalk environment and deploy this into the organisation. An implementation can further include the migration of existing applications or in-flight development of new applications onto AWS Beanstalk. PaaS Governance: define processes for AWS Beanstalk provisioning and usage. Ensure controls are in place and roles well-defined to help manage the AWS Beanstalk environments and ensure cost effective usage. PaaS Application Migration: provide resources to help migrate existing applications to AWS Beanstalk. In particular java applications that need to be modified to ensure compatibility with AWS Beanstalk. PaaS Application Development: provide resources to support application development on AWS Beanstalk, either as the core development team or as Subject Matter Experts.
