Standpipe system with fire hose cabinets on each floor. The fire pump located in the P1 sprinkler room provides boosted pressure for distribution of water, when required. The fire alarm control panel is wired to the initiating and signaling devices throughout the building. This includes heat detectors in service rooms, smoke detectors in corridors and at the top of stairwells, flow switches on sprinkler mains, and manual pull stations near exit doors. Natural gas fired direct vent tankless domestic hot water heater having a maximum input firing rate of 199,000 Btu/Hr. The system consists of a re-circulating pump, one glass lined vertical storage tank with a storage capacity of 115 U.S. gallons. Main lobby area has recessed pot light fixtures. Elevator lobbies are equipped with compact fluorescent lamp recessed pot light fixtures. Office space and corridors are illuminated by 1x 4 ft. single tube T8 fluorescent lamp recessed fixtures, and surface mounted fixtures in the service rooms. Access card entry system, and an enterphone system is installed on the outside wall near the main entrance doors allows building occupants control of visitors from entering the building. Three Otis electric traction passenger elevators that are serviced by the Thyssen Krupp Elevator Company. The elevators are original to the building (1978). Currently undergoing modernization.

TRANSIT & AMENITIES 112 Area Amenities The West Mall is conveniently located in the Highway 427 Corridor node which offers an abundance of area 49 amenities including restaurants, shopping, services and banks. Clovedale Mall, a 378,000 sf regional shopping centre, is located 1.1 km (14 minute walk) from The West Mall. The Mall contains over 90 stores and services and was renovated in 2006. Anchor tenants include Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Rexall Drugstore, Home Hardware and a 24 hour Metro. CF Sherway Gardens, a 1,182,000 sf super regional mall, is located approximately 3.4 km (6 minute drive) south of The West Mall. Sherway is the leading retail destination in Toronto s west end with over 200 stores and restaurants and is currently undergoing a renovation and expansion to be completed by 2017. Major tenants include Hudson s Bay, Holt Renfrew, Sporting Life, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstroms. Accessibility The West Mall offers exceptional access to major highways including the 427, 401, Q.E.W. and Gardiner Expressway.
