SIP Trunk Configuration Guide using www.cbeyond.com 1-877-441-9783 The information contained in this document is specific to setting up SIP connections between Telenium IP and Cbeyond. If you require assistance with this application, please contact Vertical Customer Support.

Introduction Configuring Vertical s TeleniumIP IP PBX for use with Cbeyond s BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service offers you and your customers significant cost and voice quality benefits. This document illustrates the steps to register the TeleniumIP system with the BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service. It narrowly focuses on this scope and should be used in conjunction with the TeleniumIP Programming Manual. SIPconnect is an industry standards-based approach to direct IP peering between SIP-enabled IP PBXs and VoIP service provider networks. If you would like more information about the SIPconnect Interface Specification, which was defined by the SIP Forum in their Service Provider to IP PBX Interoperability Task Group, go to http://www.sipforum.org/sipconnect. Prerequisites Installer: Before using this document, it is required that the installer be certified to install Vertical s Vodavi TeleniumIP system. System Requirements Call Processor SIP Gateway MFIM/ MFIME / MFIM100 / MFIM300 / MFIM600 VOIM/VOIM24 4.0Av minimum 4.0Av minimum Constraints The interoperability testing performed did not include any STUN, firewall, or fax testing. For faxing, it is recommended to use the analog ports on the IAD, that Cbeyond supplies with the service for faxing. If a firewall is present, it should be SIP-aware (ALG compliant).
