The Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources) requires the completion of 6 core units and 2 electives. Electives for this qualification have been chosen by Queen Anne Business College to ensure that students achieve a well-balanced knowledge and skill set in human resources and broader business areas. This Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources) aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge required for senior human resources roles. Students will gain a thorough understanding of human resources and how to use leadership and strategic direction skills. Sessions are held in fully equipped classrooms, students will be provided with access to online library. Classes Additional Support Classes will be held on Monday to Thursday for five hours each day. Morning Session Class will start at 9.00 am and finish at 2.30 pm. Evening Session Class will start at 4.00 pm and finish at 9.30 pm. Each session will include a break of 30 minutes. All students will be provided with a range of learning support options and resources to help them achieve competency. This may include: Mentoring from trainers. Additional classes, tutorials and workshops. Computer and technology support. Referral to external support services. Queen Anne Business College will provide additional support for any students experiencing: Approved by CEO Page 2 of 5
language, literacy and numeracy issues; any other issues that may affect their ability to achieve their training goals. Provision of additional support services will be provided where necessary to enable students to participate in the same way as any other person regardless of whether support services have been required. Where there is perceived difficulty in achieving learning goals, the trainer will discuss these issues with the student. The student will be provided with information about possible alternative pathways, additional tools and resources available, and options and choices for accessing support services. The information provided will vary depending on the individual needs of the student. Note that for international students satisfactory course progress is required in order to meet visa requirements. More information can be found in the student handbook that also includes information on the specific support that is available to international students. Students who are identified as being at risk of not meeting course progress requirements will be provided with additional support as recorded in an intervention strategy. Students are also required to maintain satisfactory attendance to meet their visa requirements. Credit Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer) as per the Credit Policy. Enrolment fee: $200 (non-refundable) fee : A$10,000 Plus Overseas Health Insurance Cover for International Students (approximately $420 per year). Non-payment of fees may result in cancellation of enrolment. Entry Requirements and Selection Process International Students: International students be at least 18 years of age and must have completed at least the equivalent of Year 12. These students must also have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). International Students may not be required to provide evidence of English Language competence where documented evidence can be provided to demonstrate any of the following: the student was educated for 5 years in an English speaking country. the student has completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO. the student has successfully completed a foundation course in Australia Approved by CEO Page 4 of 5
