SEO Localize Installation Guide v1.1 STEP 1: Install Login into your WordPress administrator panel and install the plugin from the archive. If you don't know how to install a WordPress plugin you can read more about it on the WordPress Managing Plugins page. STEP 2: Add Your Keywords After the plugin is installed the SEO Localize menu will appear on the left. Local Keywords Here you can manage your keywords. Import Here you can import the keywords in bulk. Go to 'Local Keywords' page and click 'Add New'. To add your keywords you first need to type the keyword set name and a shortcode. After that you can type or copy and paste your keywords in the Keywords text area.
The shortcode should be a word without curly brackets. For example if your shortcode is city then in the content you would use it as {city}. TIP: You can use spin syntax in the keywords. For example a single keyword could be: {Denton Denver} After you are ready just click 'Create Keyword Set'. To import a bulk of keywords from a file just go to 'Import'. You can import the keywords into a existing keyword set or let the plugin create a new set with a different shortcode. If you choose a exisiting set then all you have to do is select the text file from your computer and click 'Import Keywords'. If you choose 'Create New Set' then you also need to type the keyword set name and shortcode.
STEP 3: Rock'n'Roll Now when you have all your keywords stored you are ready to rock'n'roll. You can now create or edit any post or page draft in WordPress. The plugin works with custom post types too. Now let's create some WordPress posts. You will see that on the right top the 'SEO Localize' box. Please note that the box will work only on new posts/pages or a draft. 1. SEO Analyze - Clicking the button will analyze your content and come up with suggestions on how to improve your OnPage SEO. If you want to target a specific keyword click Add Keyword and enter the keyword in the box. 2. Generate Content - After your template post/page is ready, you save it as draft and click 'Generate Content'. It will create all the posts/pages for you. You can also schedule the publishing of each generated post or page. If a set of posts/pages was already generated clicking the button again will update the generated posts/pages. You don't have to delete all generated posts/page to update them. 3. Delete Generated Content - If you want to delete all generated content click this button. Let's first create some content. You can use your shortcode everywhere: post/page title, content, tags and custom fields. Do not forget to put your shortcode inside curly brackets ({city}). NOTE: You can use only one shortcode (keyword set) per post/page. For example if you have 2 keyword sets with shortcodes city and states, then you can't use both of them at the same time in the title or content like {city} {states}! Also you can use content nested spinner syntax: I {love like adore} this plugin. I {{like love} this {plugin system}}.
Here's an example: Do you feel the power of the plugin? :-) But that's not all. Let's add some tags and as All-In-One plugin is enabled I also added some optimized custom fields. Before we hit the Generate button we first need to make sure that our content is SEO optimized. We want to get some ranking right away without backlinks! Click '1. SEO Analyze'. Please note: It's recommended to Save Draft before doing the analysis.
You should get better results! :-) When you click one of the items in the results you will see more SEO tips and suggestions as how to improve your SEO score. By default the plugin looks for the shortcode that will be used as the main keyword. If you want to target some other keyword or analyze your older/future content that is not related to the plugin then just hit 'Add Keyword', enter your keyword and hit '1. SEO Analyze'. After you have a really high SEO score (green color) you are ready to generate the content.
Click '2. Generate Content'. Do not leave the page until the progress bar has finished and the plugin says how many pages or posts was created. All created posts and pages are published automatically. You can also schedule the publishing of your content. Click 'Schedule', enter a number and select the interval (minutes, hours, days). In the example above each post or page will be published every 30 minutes based on the publishing date of the last generated post (last date + 30 minutes). If you changed something in the content or title just hit the Generate button again and it will update all existing (generated) posts / pages. If you want to delete all generated content just click the '3. Delete Generated Content' button. After that you can delete the draft too. Do not delete the draft before deleting the generated content.
