2 -1- Create an Campaign 1 For sending a newsletter or a bulk , you need to create an Campaign, click on the CAMPAIGN tab in the top menu of your account: 2 Then, click on CREATE AN CAMPAIGN or CREATE AN A/B TESTING CAMPAIGN

3 -2- Follow the 3 steps Create a message using our Templates Editor or insert directly your HTML code. 1. Set the parameters of your campaign (Sender Address, OBJECT, etc..) 2. Select your recipients by choosing one or more Mailing lists or Segments 3. Set the sending date Check the Antispam (SpamAssassin) score of your message and send your campaign.

4 -3- Settings - Options Settings option Name The title of your Campaign, saved on your MailKitchen account (not visible to your recipients). Unsubscribe List Unsubscribe Link inserted by default in your messages. Your recipients can unsubscribe from your by clicking on the link. Sender By default, it is the address that you used for registering your account. You can also create up to 5 other sender addresses. From Line (Alias) When receiving your campaign your recipients will not see the sender's address, but your Alias. In their mailbox, the Alias will be displayed next to the subject of your campaign. Subject Just like when you are sending a simple , the Subject of your message is the title that will appear in the inbox of your recipients. By clicking on the Options, you can add custom fields (merged tags) like {{name}} {{surname}} in the subject of your (only if you imported a Mailing List that contains these custom fields)

5 -4- Settings - Recipients Select the recipients of your campaign by selecting one or all of your Mailing listes or your Segments (Opens or Clics). The Recipients field shows you in real time the number of targeted recipients. Optional: Add or exclude additional lists Optional: Additional Filters By clicking on the Optional tab you can add or exclude additional Mailing Lists or Segments (Opens or Clics). With the additional filters you can select to send your campaign only to the recipients that opened or clicked in one of your previous s and that are contained in the selected Mailing Lists.

6 -5- Settings - Date and Time Schedule your campaign to be sent at an exact date and time. Or select the option for sending the campaign right away after preparing it.

7 -6- Message You have 2 options: NEWSLETTER TEMPLATES Customize one of our Ready-Made Templates or create a Tailor-made templete HTML EDITOR Copy paste your own HTML code or import it using the ZIP import option

8 -7- HTML Editor Insert your own HTML code If you already have an in HTML code, click on the button INSERT YOUR OWN HTML CODE and copy the code directly in the HTML editor. Insert a ZIP file with your HTML and Images If you already have an in HTML code, but your images are not online, import a ZIP file with your HTML code and your images. To make sure that your images and text are displayed correctly, click on the PREVIEW button

9 -8- Newsletter Templates READY-MADE TEMPLATES TAILOR-MADE TEMPLATES SAVED TEMPLATES Ready-made Template are models on which the design, the colors, the position of texts and images of are already defined. You just need to insert your own images (or use the ones available in the Image Gallery), insert your texts and the template is ready to be sent. The Tailor-Made Template editor lets you create your newsletter template from scratch. You can add and delete text boxes and images that you can then customize by changing colors, inserting your text and images. If you have already created a Newsletter via our Templates Editor (in the module TEMPLATES in the top menu of the page), you can use the saved model for your campaign.

10 -9- Send a TEST Before sending your campaign, you can verify the rendering of your template by sending a TEST to your own address. You can add up to 5 test addresses.

11 -10- Validation This is the last step before sending your campaign verify all the preferences and if everything is OK, just hit the CHECK AND SEND button.

12 -11- Check your SpamAssassin score SpamAssassin is a free and open source software, widely known and reputed in the domain of antispam filtering. As part of our anti-spam policy and to ensure our customers a better deliverability, we verify the content of your messages using its features. The test consists of assigning a score (positive or negative) to the various elements of your campaign. A score higher than 4 means that your will be refused by the mailboxes of your recipients. When your message gets a score below 4, the can be sent.

13 -12- Your is ready to be sent Once you ve clicked on SEND, it takes a maximum of 15 minutes for our servers to process it and to start sending it. The campaign will first appear under the status Scheduled, then In progress and finally Completed. The statistics for your campaigns are calculated and updated every 15 minutes.. 08/04/2014
