The Ship Canal Barge Schedule and Itinerary:- The barge runs daily from Liverpool s Royal Seaforth Container Terminal on the River Mersey entering the Manchester Ship Canal where it now calls at Ellesmere Port on its way up to Manchester. Ellesmere Port is optimum discharge point for traders and businesses accessed via the main regional Motorway corridors: M53 (South Wirral and North Wales), M56 (Cheshire and South Manchester), M6 (North Staffordshire and the South). The barge returns to Liverpool each afternoon again calling Ellesmere Port with and for export containers emanating from the same catchments.
