This addendum will form part of the Contract Documents Amend/revise the Standard Contract Documents as follows: DRAWINGS Drawing A1: The area west of the project site noted on the drawing as Existing Asphalt Roadway is actually turf. Use of this area for construction staging will be at the direction of Airport Staff. Drawing A1: ADD 1200 W x 1800 L x 100 D concrete pad for LPG tank. Locate pad and tank as required by mechanical design and in consultation with propane tank lessor Coastal Propane (tel 250-626-5068) Drawing A2: REPLACE with attached Drawing A2 rev 1 07/05/2015 Drawing E100: REPLACE with attached Drawing E100 rev 2 23/04/2015 QUESTIONS FROM BIDDERS: Q: Will the rebar have to be separated from the concrete foundation and slab that is removed? A: Handling and disposal of demolished reinforced concrete is the Contractor s responsibility, consistent with the Specifications and local waste disposal regulations or recycling requirements. Q: Will the owner be responsible for compaction testing? Rebar Inspection? A: Testing is the Contractor s responsibility, in accordance with the Specifications. Q: Is there any contaminated soil on site? A: There is no information available as to the presence of any hazardous materials on the site. Should any suspected hazardous materials be found during demolition or excavation, the Contractor is to notify the Departmental Representative for further instructions in accordance with the Specifications Section 02 41 16, 1.4.2.1. Q: Can you identify any possible laydown areas on site? Dump sites? A: Following Award of Contract the Contractor will be advised by Airport Staff as to suitable laydown areas and waste collection areas. Q: The drawings show a 2.5/12 pitch while the documents list a 3/12 pitch. Which is correct? A: The Specifications are to be read as correct. Drawings A2/4 and A2/6 have been amended to show minimum roof slope of 3 in 12 and revised roof height. Q: Does a standard Metal Building Insulation with a WMP-50 vapor barrier comply with the insulation requirements?
