Job Description Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant

Role Title Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant Reporting to Head of Financial Planning Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to provide effective and proactive business and financial support to the ARI Finance and ARI management team. Key Areas of Responsibility Co-ordinate the financial planning activities, primarily for budgeting, LE s and 10-year corporate plans, for the ARI group ensuring that such planning and delivery will ensure: sound robust assumptions & projections; and delivery in line with daa Group timelines Bring sound commercial challenge to the business plans / budgets of ARI s business units (including the central support office) Prepare reporting packs (for financial plans) and other required presentations / reports as required Support and work on projects (e.g. concession bids, M&A transactions) to will drive value in the business Maintain the risk register for ARI, including the coordination of monthly and quarterly updates Maintain the Balanced Scorecard for ARI, including the coordination of monthly and quarterly updates Providing key financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required. Assist in the creation and delivery of KPI reporting Ensuring effective and timely communication within the department and across the business regarding financial and business related matters Supporting the ARI finance team with on-going activities. Supporting the adherence to internal financial controls. Functional Competencies required (Key knowledge and skills) Qualification in accounting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to articulate complex processes and concepts. Excellent analytical and computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience in meeting deadlines, coordinating activities, and escalating risks and issues Oracle experience (preferable)
