Noel E. Fisher Dear Mr. Fisher, We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the outstanding job your company performed for Del Monte in the wake of Hurricane Ike last year. Our facility at the Port of Galveston was devastated when the destructive forces of Hurricane Ike passed through our area in September and placed the future prospect of our business in jeopardy. When our staff surveyed the facility we were faced with the aftermath of water levels exceeding 30 inches in our offices and refrigeration coolers. The degree of contamination from inundation of mud was immense and the severity of water damage had us thinking we would not resume operations for the remainder of the year. Your company was contacted immediately because of your expertise in disaster recovery, but we had no idea you would respond so quickly. Literally, within one hour after our phone call, Rolyn had a representative on site to survey the damage and immediately began to formulate an aggressive plan of action. In just a few more hours 10 workers arrived at the site and began the arduous recovery effort. By the next day 20 to 30 workers were mobilized to our facility with all the necessary equipment. We would like to acknowledge the superior efforts of your supervisor, Doug Lane. Doug worked tirelessly to ensure our needs were met and that the timeline we agreed upon was adhered to. His goal oriented dedication to an ambitious work schedule was noteworthy. Doug provided the close supervision that was required of a job of this magnitude and the success was attributed much to his efforts. Del Monte began working vessels and importing fruit again after only a 3 week hiatus. This was accomplished in no small part to the outstanding job performed by, Inc. Thank you for a job well done. Best Regards, Joe Wiley Port Manager Port of Galveston
Mr. Samuel Bergman President Dear Mr. Bergman, The very nature of your business implies two key assumptions: one, that an unexpected disaster has befallen a home or business, and two, that the work required to restore these structures demands both specialized attention and superior expertise in the construction field. Following the fire at the Embassy of Estonia on July 2nd, 2001, another dimension was added to these assumptions that of a foreign representation working between the needs of your staff here in Washington, DC and the desires of our colleagues at the Foreign Ministry of our country. The fire certainly threw our professional lives and the function of the embassy into disarray and the long process of restoration and reconstruction certainly opened up opportunities for conflict, but at such periods of time, Rick Crump came to the forefront and demonstrated not only the second assumption of disaster reconstruction specialization and expertise but also that he is a man of outstanding character and integrity. Rick Crump has that wonderfully American can-do attitude and proves not only his dedication to his profession and your company, but also a unique understanding of our special needs as an embassy. In this modern professional world where the customer seems more and more alienated from the service provider, Rick helped along the sometimes frustrating process of reconstruction with his customer-oriented approach, responsiveness, and his good-natured temperament. An Estonian values trust and friendship above everything else, and our cultural reluctance to immediately offer these to someone before he has demonstrated his worth to receive them sometimes has us mislabeled as cold. Well, with this offered as a guide into our way of thinking, saying that Rick was more like a colleague to us than a hired contractor, I hope comes with all the meaning it was meant to convey. Kristjan Prikk Head of Economic Section and Embassy Reconstruction Manager/Liaison Embassy of Estonia
Mr. Mark Futrovsky President Dear Mark, I wanted to write to let you know how pleased we are with. Following the roof collapse at one of our Delaware retail properties that resulted from a snow storm, there was significant structural damage to the building. Rolyn performed the initial emergency services to secure and stabilize the structure which helped mitigate additional damage. The collapsed roof damaged the fire sprinkler and electrical systems for the building, preventing other tenants from opening their businesses. Rolyn worked hard to quickly provide temporary power and fire watch and then get the fire alarm and sprinkler system repaired so these tenants could get back to normal. In the collapsed area, Rolyn began demolition and then rebuilt the steel structure, roof and interiors back like new. Throughout the project the Rolyn team kept me informed of any issues, progress/delays, and timelines. I would especially like to commend the project Supervisor, Mike Bingaman, his assistant John, as well as Project Manager, Mark Dunn, for their hard work to keep the project moving. In addition to knowing they were on top of everything they documented damages so that we could more easily file our property insurance claim. While we certainly hope we don t experience this type of disaster again, there is no doubt in my mind that I would call Rolyn again. I highly recommend Rolyn for their turnkey services, from the initial disaster response to the reconstruction. Marguerite E. Castrilli Vice President Director of Property Management Finmarc Management, Inc.
