COURTYARD MARRIOTT ROOF REPLACEMENT EXTERIORS Kingshill Court Apartments Below freezing temperatures caused several roof drainage pipes to back up, freeze and break at Kingshill Court Apartments. Severe water damage to the interior of each building resulted. Due to the roof drainage issue, the roof was unable to properly drain the weight of the ice and snow that had accumulated. The roof insulation compressed and forced the fasteners to protrude through the roofing membrane creating additional interior water damage to 240 units and 26 buildings. Advanced performed over $2.4 million in exterior and interior remediation and restoration services. Claremont Retirement Village Fidelity Plaza The historical Fidelity Plaza office building, located on the Dayton, Ohio downtown waterfront suffered over $6 million in interior and exterior damages after a powerful winter windstorm swept through the area. The wind lifted and peeled back the flat roofing system, which exposed the pipes in the building to below freezing temperatures causing them to burst and flood eleven stories. Advanced performed emergency services including water extraction, structural drying, demolition and sealing the roof openings.
