Instructor Bios Natalie Baumchen M. Ed. Exercise Psychology B.S. Community Health and Exercise Science Certified Les Mills-BodyPump Instructor Natalie has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for more than 10 years and takes great pride in helping her clients achieve their goals. She enjoys challenging people to reach new fitness levels and showing them how to attain the highest efficiency with their workouts using functional movements, HIIT training, and body weight exercises. Natalie s programs generate maximum results! She provides her clients with constant motivation and helps them develop a passion for health and fitness. Nick Butler B.S. Recreation Management Nick is one of our newest trainers and has spent much of his life involved in fitness and recreation. He likes to keep his clients workouts fresh and creative while pushing them to achieve their fitness goals. Nick is a firm believer in the fundamentals of fitness and designs his programs to include both strength movements and cardiovascular exercises to provide a complete workout. He believes that fitness is the essential component in a well-balanced life and that with a little hard work and dedication the benefits are endless! Andrew Chiacchieri B.S. Adult Fitness and Exercise Science B.A. Sport Industry Operations ACSM Health Fitness Specialist Andrew has been training clients since 2012 and is recently obtained his second bachelor s degree in Adult Fitness and Exercise Science from Metro State University. He focuses on safety first when training clients as he rehabbed knee surgery and understands the importance of proper form and muscle balance. Andrew likes to educate his clients on the whys behind health and fitness and prides himself on pushing them to reach their maximum potential.

David Coates M. S. Exercise Science B.S. Exercise Physiology NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist ACSM Health Fitness Specialist David has been a personal trainer for more than 15 years and has worked in various settings such as corporate wellness, cardiac rehab, and sports performance. He likes to keep each training session fresh and exciting by incorporating weight machines, free weights, bodyweight, BOSU, suspension training, stability balls, and agility training. He believes in the benefit of exercise and the doors that good health opens, and enjoys showing clients this aspect as they make the decision to improve their lives! Gretchen Cross B.S. Biology AFPA Certified Pilates Instructor: Levels 1 & 2 Certified Les Mills BodyPump Instructor Gretchen has been training clients for one year and has coached both high school cross country and girls gymnastics. She is a fitness enthusiast who has been involved in fitness for more than 25 years. Gretchen works individually with clients to determine their goals and focuses primarily on core strength, functional training, and living a healthy lifestyle overall. She loves helping clients get their bodies back after major life changes such as childbirth, injury rehab and sport retirement. Gretchen loves helping clients achieve the fitness goals they once deemed impossible! Dan Dilley B.A. Physical Education Dan has been in the fitness industry for over 17 years. He loves to help people find a way to have fun as they meet their fitness goals to encourage retention and truly make it part of their lifestyle. Dan is an encourager and truly enjoys interaction with people and celebrating their successes. He believes that exercise can help people become healthier, happier, and more productive. It is a fabulous outlet that provides energy and stamina. He loves interacting with his clients and making new friends! Juanita Gable B.S. Community Health Education

Certified Les Mills-BodyPump Instructor Certified Zumba Instructor Juanita has been personal training for four years. She works with individuals at all different stages of their fitness journey, but especially loves working with individuals brand new to fitness. Juanita focuses on educating and teaching her clients the skills they need to live healthy lifestyles both in and out of the gym. Juanita helps her clients discover that it s the small things, over time that add up to big changes in behavior. She prides herself on pushing clients to achieve their individual goals and keeping each workout fun! Barb Granica B.A. Journalism Barb has been a personal trainer for more than four years. She tailors each session to challenge her clients from head-to-toe, emphasizing form and technique for the most efficient and effective program to meet their goals. Barb loves to see her clients smile while training when they discover the strength, power, and athleticism they possess. She enjoys working with all fitness levels but enjoys watching beginners grow and develop as they take charge of their health. Barb is dedicated to educating her clients and making them stronger than they ever imagined! Marcus Henderson AOS Personal Training NASM Certified Personal Trainer NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist AAAI/ISMA Certified Personal Trainer Marcus has been a personal trainer for over five years and has a deep passion for helping people. He believes that with a structured training program, motivation, and a healthy diet, we all can reach our full potential of fitness. Marcus has been an athlete his entire life and played football in college. He can help increase speed, agility, and quickness through sports specific training for anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability. He loves helping the general population reach their goals as well as developing extensive rehabilitation programs for special populations recovering from injuries and ailments.

Ryan Johnson B.A. Exercise Science NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Ryan has been a personal trainer for four years. He specializes in functional training and using full-body movements to improve power, speed, and endurance. Ryan became a trainer to help clients achieve their goals safely and efficiently and loves working with individuals of all levels, especially those with injuries or working to gain fitness back after an injury. Tre Meyer NSCA Certified Personal Trainer Tre has been a personal trainer for two years. She prides herself on helping individuals become the best possible versions of themselves by starting with a solid foundation of physical fitness. Tre believes that physical well-being affects all aspects of her clients life and she strives to prove that working out can be fun, rewarding and life-changing. She specializes in weight-loss, injury prevention and rehab, and working with vegetarian/vegan clients. Tre helps individuals not only meet their short-term goals, but gain the skills necessary to obtain lasting health benefits. Deborah Montour B.S. Computer and Management Science ACE Certified Health Coach Deborah has been training clients for seven years. She considers the specific goals, skill levels, and personalities of each client to develop unique programs that challenge them each step of the way. Although she enjoys working with clients of all ages and in various stages of life, she especially connects with baby boomers and beyond for weight loss, bone mass preservation, balance and fall prevention, and core activation. Deb prides herself on leading sessions that are motivational, educational, and fun! Paul Serafini B.S. Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, and Biology Natural Trainer Certification CancerFit Certification Paul has more than 15 years of experience in personal training, group training, and rehabilitative training. He works primarily with individuals seeking weight loss, strength gain, injury rehab, and endurance training. Paul likes to keep fitness fun and sets achievable goals for his clients. He is an

accomplished marathon and active outdoor enthusiast who has completed over 50 races, including three Boston Marathons! Jewel Shoga B.A. Sociology Certified Zumba Instructor Jewel s venture into the fitness world began when she set out on her personal weight loss journey. With lots of drive and determination, she lost 145 lbs and knew she wanted to help others to reach their goals, both large and small. Jewel enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities, and especially likes making individuals new to the fitness environment feel comfortable. As a mother of three young boys, Jewel shows her clients how to live a healthy lifestyle, even with the busiest of schedules! Chris Slocum B.S. Kinesiology NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Chris has been a personal trainer for more than 15 years, specializing in sports enhancement and performance coaching. He is experienced in training and testing athletes and non-athletes of all ages and levels. He designs fast-paced workouts that address any identified weaknesses and makes his clients work! Chris uses integrated full-body movements to maximize both efficiency and results. He provides his clients with sound exercise and nutrition education so they can make healthy choices for life! Maria Wong M.S. Molecular Biology B.S. Biology NASM Certified Personal Trainer TRX Group Instructor Insanity Certified Maria became certified as a personal trainer since May of 2013 after spending three years training extensively for marathons, triathlons, and obstacle races. She utilizes an analytical approach to crafting individualized training programs based on her clients goals, a formal assessment, and ongoing evaluation of form and movement during the execution of exercises.
