Certifications: Madd Dog Athletics Spinning Les Mills Body Pump AFI Certified Personal Trainer A graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Management. Self proclaimed "the son my father never had", I was the athlete of the family. Starting with softball at 10 years and receiving a financial grant for volleyball at St John Fisher College, I've always been happiest competing and pushing the boundaries of what bodies were meant to do move. I have been an active fitness club member since high school, during college, careers and kids. I've trained through the major stages of my life; holding the freshman fifteen at bay, working out to relieve stress from the office, to get rid of the baby weight and get a well deserved break from my kids. I understand what it takes to get the job done from both a client's and trainer's point of view. It is my pleasure every day to motivate and celebrate successes with our members. They are what keep me coming back to the LAFC, with a smile on my face.
2 AFAA Certified Personal Trainer Brandon Freiburger is a Senior at Starpoint High School. Brandon is an experienced kickboxer and wrestler. He also has coaching and competitive fighting experience. Brandon is knowledgeable with the fundamentals of integrated training as well as exercise science, fitness assessments, nutrition, and resistance training concepts. He is enthusiastic to learn and grow as a young trainer and open to new ideas to better himself and have a better understanding of what it is to be a fitness professional. Brandon plans on going to the University of Buffalo or Niagara University for college and plans to obtain a BS in exercise science with a minor in nutrition and business management. He plans on continuing a career in fitness with the goal to help change peoples lives in any way possible. Whether it is through training, coaching, nutrition concepts, or lifestyle modification, Brandon always wants to be involved in helping change one person at a time. He believes that a healthy body and mind will lead to success and that setting positive goals will always benefit one s life no matter what their goal may be.

Certifications: Group Exercise Director NETA Certified Personal Trainer AFAA Certified Personal Trainer Specializes in the Art of Kickboxing NETA Certified in -Pilates -Yoga -Group Exercise Instruction Lizz has been in the Health and Beauty business for over 30 years, originating as a Hairstylist and Platform Artist since Her transition into the Health and Fitness industry started in 1996 when she started training with North Eastern Kickboxing Champion Amer Abdallah She is the Group Exercise Director at LAFC and a certified Personal Trainer through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America as well as National Exercise Trainers Association. Lizz is also certified in Kettlebells and Lower body instruction all through the National Exercise Trainers Association. She specializes and is passionate in the art of Kickboxing. Her philosophy is to work hard every day to better yourself with a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise.
4 Personal Training Director NSCA Certified Personal Trainer A graduate from The University at Buffalo in 2011 with his BS in Exercise Science with a minor in Health and Wellness Promotion. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Along with coaching high school basketball for the Clarence Devils, he played semi-professional basketball for the Buffalo 716er s during their inaugural season. Matt has worked with all types of people ranging from children, athletes, and seniors. He specializes in helping clients understand the difference between fat loss versus weight loss through proper nutrition and strength training. His intensive analysis of his client s nutritional habits has proven success in achieving a healthy, maintainable lifestyle change.
5 ACE Certified Personal Trainer Gil has been working in the fitness industry as a trainer since He received his certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in After graduating from SUNY Fredonia in 1995, he played Arena football for the Syracuse Storm and Buffalo Gladiators. Gil has extensive background in the Martial arts. He holds a 4 th degree black belt in Chunkukdo, Tang soo do as well as an advanced belt in American Kempo. His background in athletics and the Martial arts help make up his daily fitness philosophy! Just do the work! Gil believes that you should always have a goal whether it relates to fitness or life in general. You need to have something that drives you to be a little bit better every day!
6 NSCA-CSCS Trainers Certification Bachelors in Exercise Science Masters in Athletic Training Greg Jones has been in the health and fitness field for over 14 years. He has worked throughout the WNY area as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. Greg graduated from Daemen College in 2009 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters in Athletic Training. He was also a competitive bodybuilder from 1998 to Greg is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and has his performance enhancement certification through NASM. Through his time at Thurman Thomas Sports Training, Greg was fortunate enough to train professional athletes such as Rob Gronkowski, Mike Williams, and Thurman Thomas. Although his passion for training is in sports performance, Greg has trained all ages from children to seniors.
