Kari M. Komlofske, APRN, MSN, FNP-C Kari was born and raised in Oregon. She graduated from Linfield College School of Nursing with her bachelor s degree in 1992. She was accepted into the nurse internship at Legacy, and after a short time on the Good Samaritan cardiac unit, Kari entered the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Emanuel Hospital. As part of the children s hospital, Kari helped to develop the bereavement committee and sat in on the ethics committee. After five years she became a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse. She has cared for a wide range of patients and their families. Kari graduated from Washington State University in 2010 with her master s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, and proudly took a position at Housecall Providers. Since graduating, Kari has taken some time to enjoy her two children, 13 year-old Brittany and 10 year old Jackson, as well as reconnecting with her husband of 14 years, Randy. They enjoy the wonderful Oregon activities including camping, hiking, and boating. Kari looks forward to becoming connected with her fellow Nurse Practitioners through NPO and helping to support our continued advanced scope of practice.
