Lecture: Learning Goals Global Engineering/ CSCW/ Groupware Methods and techniques to analyse, select, developeand introduce CSCW/ Groupware Applications Non-technical aspects: virtual teams, inter cultural communication combining CSCW and SWE Lab: Learning goals Experience: Electronic meeting rooms Video conferencing studio Desktop Conferencing BSCW but also: - presentation techniques - working with research papers - writing skills (scientific style) Focus: NOT on overal functionality and general usage BUT on special features for team support/ CSCW Students shall be able to choose the right groupware for a given team 3
