College of Saint Benedict Reunion 2015 Frequently Asked Questions If you have any remaining questions, please contact Emily Stamp in the Alumnae Relations office at csbalumnae@csbsju.edu or by calling (320) 363-5682. Registration Questions Q: What is included with the registration fee? Why does it double in June? A: A lot goes in to hosting a Reunion worthy of your time and excitement. The registration fee helps Saint Ben s offset some of the costs for the large and small things that make the weekend an amazing experience. These costs include staff time and extra touches such as golf carts standing ready to zip you around campus. The registration fee doubles in June because, as the weekend draws closer, it is more costly to add staff and other items necessary to comfortably accommodate additional attendees. Q: Who can attend reunion with me? A: As long as you are a Bennie celebrating your Reunion year (0s and 5s), you are welcome to have guests accompany you to Reunion. Spouses, family members and Bennie classmates from any year are welcome to register with you. Q: If I register my Johnnie friends (or husband, boyfriend, etc.) at Saint Ben s, do they have to register at Saint John s as well? A: If your Johnnie friend (spouse or otherwise) is celebrating his own Reunion (0s and 5s) and intends to participate in Saint John s Reunion meals and events, he will need to register through the Saint John s registration page. However, you can sign him up for housing with you on the Saint Ben s campus by calling the Alumnae Relations Office. If your Johnnie friend is not celebrating his own Reunion and does not intend to participate in Saint John s Reunion events, you simply need to register him as a guest when you register through Saint Ben s. Q: If my Johnnie friends (or husband, boyfriend, etc.) register me as their guest at Saint John s, do I have to register at Saint Ben s as well? A: If you are a Bennie celebrating your Reunion year (0s and 5s) and plan to attend Saint Ben s Reunion events, you will need to register through Saint Ben s, even if your housing will be at Saint John s. If you are a Bennie who is not celebrating her Reunion year and you do not plan to attend Reunion events hosted by Saint Ben s, then you do not need to be registered at Saint Ben s. 1
Q: I am coming to Reunion. If my guest comes to meet me for one meal only (e.g., Sunday brunch) do they have to register for Reunion? A: All guests attending Reunion 2015 events are required to pay a registration fee. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Anne Sumangil at asumangil@csbsju.edu or 320-363- 5815. Q: I live in St. Cloud and can only join my friends for the picnic at Saint John s. Do I have to pay the Saint Ben s registration fee or can I only pay for the picnic at the door? How much will it be? A: You may pay for the picnic at the door, but all Reunion attendees are required to pay the registration fee. With this in mind, we strongly encourage registering before Reunion weekend to take advantage of the early-bird pricing, which ends June 2. Q: Do I have to register for everything or can I pay as I go? A: To help us best prepare for Reunion with an accurate count of guests, we encourage all Reunion guests to register prior to Reunion weekend. Q: Is my spouse and/or family invited to Reunion? A: Saint Ben s welcomes our Bennies spouses and families to join them in celebrating Reunion. Please register all guests when you register at www.csbreunion.com. Housing Questions Q: If I am part of a couple coming to Reunion together and we only want one bed, do we still have to pay per person? A: Yes. The Saint Ben s housing policy states that Reunion housing is per person, per night. Please note that the only beds available in the residence halls are twin beds. You are welcome to share one of these beds, but our policy indicates that each person staying on campus for Reunion is required to pay a housing fee. To attend Reunion 2015, all guests staying on campus are required to pay a registration fee. 2

Q: Can I purchase housing for my Johnnie friends, but not register them?
