Common Concerns Regarding Treatment I don t want anyone to pressure me in my eating habits. Whether indulgence or restriction - both are destructive to health and relationships. Everyone needs support at one time or another. At Sovereign Health we provide this support by focusing on your strengths and partnering with you on your journey towards lasting health. I don t have an Eating Disorder. This has all been blown out of proportion. Sometimes shame and secrecy regarding eating habits can provoke this kind of objection. Other individuals really don t believe they have a problem. The truth is, denial is the best way to ensure the disorder will continue to cause pain. However, admitting there is a problem is the first step to experiencing life in its fullness. 10
I don t need help. I can do this on my own. We understand that, ultimately, you are the only one with the power to overcome your eating disorder. Our treatment center only seeks to remove the obstacles that have hindered your recovery thus far. I can t afford treatment.
