This document provides step-by-step instructions for setting up access to this service on your devices, will help you get the better understanding of the umobilecam s key features. Introduction What did you do with your old iphone and new ipad 2 or ipod Touch 4G? You can use them for mobile camera and baby monitor rather than just having them laying around in one of your tables. umobilecam enables you to turn camera-enabled ios mobile devices (iphone, ipad, ipod Touch) and built-in/usb camera on Windows and Mac into network cameras with audio and motion detection capabilities. It allows you to listen and watch between mobile devices, and the mobile device live from your PC (Mac/Windows) over Wi-Fi and cellular networks and vice versa, even monitor your network camera with push notification and an incredibly intuitive touch screen user interface for network cameras from anywhere over Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

3. Getting Started umobilecam solution consists of two components: the camera mode and the monitor mode module You need to complete the following steps to set up the umobilecam solution. Step 1: Get umobilecam app for your mobile ios devices from itunes App Store Step 2: Click the Setup icon at the bottom of your screen, and then fill out the required fields as follows: (Camera Setup) Device Name: Enter the name you want to assign to your ios device Device Role: Select Camera mode User ID: Enter the user ID of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) Key: Enter the Key of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) Password: Enter the password of your device as you want (case sensitive, 6~24 char size) User ID and Key and Password must contain any alpha-numeric characters (lower/upper alphabet character and 0~9 digits) Additionally the following optional settings can be customized according to your preference: - Motion & audio detect: Enable motion & audio detection with adjustable sensitivity up to 3 levels - Notification: Push notification to ios monitor devices when the event is detected - icloud Access: Send images to free 5GB icloud when events are detected - Schedule: Snapshots at regular intervals are taken and stored in your icloud - Port type: Need to be automatically or manually forwarded the port in your router (Option1: Camera Setup for iphone or ipod Touch)

Step 3: Connect your ios device to your Mac and vice versa You can navigate cameras with the variety of portrait and landscape modes. You can select one of camera lists by clicking which shows your cameras installed. (Monitor for ios device in portrait mode) It enables you to remotely not only listen and watch your built-in isight camera live audio and video feeds but control menu by clicking from ios mobile devices over Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Note Your devices are required to be connected to public networks. First do run the app in Camera mode device and next run the app in Monitor mode device Encrypted string randomly generated by user ID and Key is sent to the server for registration. Additional encrypted Password string is saved only between camera mode and monitor mode on your devices. We do not save your ID and Key and Password, thus you should make a note of them and keep it in a safe place just in case OR you can set the auto login feature. Simultaneously capturing both video and audio feed may cause increased video frame and audio delays Plug your ios device into the charger to keep monitoring for a few hours or more. Push notification to ios monitor mode device could be delayed by depending on your network performance If you get UPnP Error message, make sure that UPnP is enabled in your router. If you are still having problems, you need to manually forward ports in your router by referring to www.portforward.com/guides.htm For your network camera setup, please refer to http://www.umobilecam.com 4. Search saved images You can easily search images by camera name, event type and time stored in your icloud as the following options. Saved images are retrieved from your icloud on iphone, ipod touch, ipad with ios 5.0 or later or local Picture folder on your Mac working on OS X Lion or later. Option 1: Click icould icon at the bottom of your screen on your ios devices You can simply retrieve images by tapping each of the table cells by camera name, event type, and date. The thumbnail image named by YYYY-MM-DD HHMMSS is shown on each of the table cell, when this thumbnail image is taped it shows detail view with larger image which is able to be deleted or sent via email
Option 2: Go to the local Picture folder on your Mac You can easily retrieve and delete images and/or send them via email
5. Push Notification with Audio and Motion Detection If you enable motion and/or audio detection in setup on your device and activate motion or audio detection then you will receive alerts on ios device by push notification.
