POEMS Mobile ipad App User Guide Getting Started 1. Connect your ipad to the internet using 3G or WIFI. For details on connection setup, please check with your respective service provider. 2. Go to App Store or itunes. Search for POEMS SG (ipad edition) in the ipad section of the app store to download the application. 1
3. Login using your account number and POEMS Internet password. 4. You will be brought to the Main Menu. At any time you would like to access the Main Menu, tap the P button at the bottom. 5. To logout, tap on Logout. 2

Search Stocks/ Check Prices 1. At the Main Menu and all other screens, tap on the Stock Details and/or Search icon on the top right hand corner. 2. By default, all counters are searchable in all available markets or select a market to search. The markets available are SGX, NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX, HKEx, KLSE, TSE and LSE 3. Enter the Stock name/symbol to search. Tap the name of your preferred stock. 4. The bottom panel will show the Stock Details of the selected stock. 5. Select on either Trade or Add to Watchlist to proceed. 4
Trade 1. At the Main Menu or from the shortcuts at the bottom of the screen, select Trade. 2. By default, all counters are searchable in all available markets or select a market to search. The markets available are SGX, NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX, HKEx, KLSE, TSE and LSE 3. Enter the Stock name/symbol of your preferred counter and select the results to trade. The trade submission page of the selected counter will appear at the bottom panel. a. Use the existing order submission form to submit the order OR b. Amend the order submission form (ie. Quantity, Price, Payment and Settlement Currency). Option one: Tap on the price and/or quantity and key in the figures Option two: Use the roller to select the input [Note: A roller is in place to pre-calculate the bid size for you. Quantity has also been pre-set in multiples of the lot size for your convenience.] 4. Select Buy/Sell to proceed. 5
5. Trade confirmation page will appear. 6. Check that the order details are correct and key in the password to confirm. Tap on Confirm button to proceed. 6. A pop-up will appear to inform you that the order has been submitted. 8. You will be directed to the order status page. 6
Order Status 1. Select Order Status from the Main Menu or the shortcuts at the bottom of the screen. 2. You can view Today s Orders or Past Orders (Up to 7 days) by tapping on the respective tab or swiping left or right of the top panel. 3. The top panel shows the order summary page. Tap on the Stock s name (on the right) to view the full Order details at the bottom panel. 4. Swipe to the left or right to view the selected counter s stock details or to trade. 5. Amend Order (Only applicable to Singapore orders) a. Go to Today s Orders. b. Tap on the specific stock s order summary to view the full order details c. Details of the selected order will be displayed at the bottom panel. Tap on Amend. d. Enter a new quantity lower than the current quantity and password and tap on Confirm. e. Order will be submitted pending for amendment. Please check Order Status to confirm. 7
6. Withdraw Order a. Go to Today s Orders. b. Tap on the specific stock s order summary to view the full order details c. Details of the selected order will be displayed at the bottom panel. Tap on Withdraw. d. Enter password and tap on Confirm. e. Order will be submitted pending for withdrawal. Please check Order Status to confirm. 7. Trade a. Go to Today s Orders or Past Orders. b. You will come to the Order summary page. Tap on the Stock to retrieve the stock details. Tap on the stock to view the full Order details. Tap on Trade or swipe to the left of the bottom panel to trade 8
WatchList There are 5 watchlists in total and each watchlist can store up to 20 stocks. The watchlist for iphone App and ipad are synced. 1. At the Main Menu or from the shortcuts at the bottom of the screen, select Watchlist 2. By default, the watchlist will be blank. Select any watchlist by swiping to the left or to the right of the top panel or tap on the numbers 3. Add Stocks: a. Select a watchlist by swiping to the left or to the right or by tapping on the watchlist number b. Tap on the Add button on the top left hand corner c. By default, all counters are searchable in all available markets or select a market to d. search. e. Type in the stock name/symbol in the search box f. Tap on the name of the stock to add g. A pop-up will appear to inform you that the stock has been added 9
4. Delete Stocks a. Select a watchlist by swiping to the left or to the right or by tapping on the watchlist number b. Tap on the Edit button on the top right hand corner c. Tap on the Delete symbol on the left of the stock that you want to remove d. Tap on the Delete button to confirm e. A pop-up will appear to inform you that the stock has been removed. 5. Rename Watchlist a. Select a watchlist to rename by swiping to the left or to the right or by tapping on the watchlist number b. Tap on the Edit button on the top right hand corner c. Tap on the existing name and type in the new watchlist name over the existing name d. Tap on the Done button to confirm 10
Top 20 1. At the Main Menu or from the shortcuts at the bottom of the screen, select Top 20 2. You can view the Top 20 Volume, Gainers, Losers and Market Indices 3. Select the market (default option is Singapore) to proceed 4. To view the stock symbol as its stock name, tap on the header Stock Name on the left and the Stock Symbol will appear 5. Edit Headers Tap on the Header on the right and select the fields (i.e Last Done, Change etc) to customise the view A roller will appear for you to select the fields. Tap Done to confirm selection 6. Trade a. Go to Volume, Gainers or Losers. b. Tap on the Stock s name or symbol and the trade submission page of the selected counter will appear at the bottom panelyou will come to the respective Top 20 page. 11
News 1. Select News from the Main Menu. The news feature can be viewed in either portrait or landscape mode. Tilt the ipad to view in the landscape mode. 2. You can view the market indices and headlines of these categories: Headlines, Equity News, Economic News, Analyst Ratings, Dividends News, Hot Stocks and General News 3. Scroll up and down to read the headlines 4. Tap on the headlines to read the full news 5. To increase or decrease font size, tap on Aa button at the top left corner 6. Tap Headlines to return to the categories and headlines Settings 1. Select Settings from the Main Menu 2. Customise your Login landing page Tap on the drop down bar and a roller appears for selection 3. Customise Stock refresh rate Tap on the drop down bar and a roller appears for selection 4.
