1 User Guide for limtan App for ipad Overview Trading gets easier with limtan.com.sg ipad application. Enjoy greater accessibility and instant connections for all your trading activities. You can now be in control of your stock trading in the SGX, U.S. and Hong Kong stock markets. Trade shares anywhere, view real-time live prices, manage watchlists, check order book, search for stocks, view live market data and more are now available via your ipad. 1. Login to limtan ipad App To download the application, please visit Apple App store and key in limtan to get app and install. Please note that ipad User ID and Password will be the same as that for your Internet and mtrade channels of your Online Trading Account. As such, you will only be able to access one channel at any given time. 1

2 2. Watchlist Upon login, the Watchlist you have created on your Internet trading system will be shown. Adding or removing counters via your ipad will also change the Watchlist for the Internet and mtrade channels. Tap to select Watch List Tap Stock to view Stock Code for SGX, U.S. and HK markets. The various markets are indicated in the brackets. You can maintain up to 5 Watchlists to display a total of 50 counters in each. Tap to toggle among: Last Done Day High Day Low Opening Price Previous Closing Price Equilibrium Price Tap to toggle among: Volume Change Change % Buy Volume Sell Volume Tap to Place Order Tap next to the counter to view the options; Buy/Sell, Time & Sales, Market Depth or to remove from Watchlist. Please refer to 3. Place Order at page 5 2

3 Time & Sales After tapping on, the following screens will be displayed to you when you toggle between Time/Sales and TradeSummary. Time/Sales Trade Summary Time / Sales & Trade Summary are not streaming. Please tap to refresh. 3

4 Market Depth After tapping on ways) for the same counter., you will be able to view 20 levels market depth (both If you have subscribed to Market Depth for the Internet Channel, you will also be able to access this function on the ipad. No additional subscription is required. If you have not subscribed to Market Depth, you may do so by using the Internet Channel. Select Market Depth under our limtan loyalty rewards redemption catalogue using loyalty points or payment by cash. 4

5 3. Place Order After tapping at the desired counter on the Watchlist, you will be able to place an order. You can also tap on the counter name to select Buy or Sell. Please note that the Price data on Place Order screen is shown as a snapshot of price. Select Account to trade from Select Buy or Sell Key in price if differs & desired quantity Tap here if you wish to Force your order Tap on Submit after completing the required fields Select Settlement Curency & Mode of Payment for counters traded in foreign currencies Key in Password and tap Submit to Place Order 5

6 Upon tapping on Submit, you will receive the following confirmation screen for order verification. To complete submission of order to the system, tap OK to confirm order. After tapping OK, you will be shown the Order Result Screen where your order is being submitted to the Exchange. Please remember to check Order Book to ensure order has been submitted successfully. 6

7 4. Order Book Tap for your Order Book to check the updated status of your orders. View and manage orders placed for the current market day and up to 3 previous market days Tap on to refresh the latest Order Status a) B/S: Buy/Sell b) St: Status PQ= Pending for Enter Queue Q= Order Accepted in Queue PF= Partially Filled Order F= Filled Order AQ= Reduce Order Accepted in Queue E= Expired Order RQ= Reduce Order Pending to Enter Queue CQ= Cancelled Order Pending to Enter Queue R= Rejected Order a) Tap Order Qty to toggle amongst Order Qty, Done Qty, Balance, Forced b) Tap Price to toggle between Order Price & Done Price c) Tap Submit Date to toggle amongst Submit Date, Order Type, Validity Tap to view Order Details 7

8 Tap on a counter name to Amend / Withdraw, Buy / Sell, view Time & Sales, view Market Depth and to Add the counter to Watchlist. After tapping on counter name to Amend or Withdraw an Order, you will be able to view the Order Detail of the desired counter. These are the number of shares that have been fulfilled. You can only Amend or Withdraw the Balance Quantity. Tap Withdraw or Amend accordingly 8

9 After tapping on Withdraw, you will be able to withdraw an order. Key in your password & tap on Withdraw Tap Ok to confirm the withdrawal Withdrawal Result will be displayed. Tap ok to exit screen. 9

10 After clicking on Amend, you will be able to amend quantity that is not done yet Enter the reduced quantity Key in password Tap Amend to confirm Tap Ok to proceed Withdrawal result will be displayed. Tap Ok to exit 10

11 5. Top 20 Volume/ Gainer/ Losers Tap on for real-time streaming of prices as shown on SGX stock information. Tap on Top 20 to view SGX Vol: Top 20 Volume +$ : Top 20 Gainers in dollar terms -$ : Top 20 Losers in dollar terms +%: Top 20 Gainers in percentage terms -% : Top 20 Losers in percentage terms Tap on to select SGX or SGX UnitShare Market, U.S. and HK markets. Tap button to search for more counters e.g. if you toggle among markets: U.S. market HK market 11

12 6. Search for Counter Tap button to search for more counters Tap to select SGX, SGX Unit Share, U.S. or HK Market Tap to key in the stock name or stock code you wish to search for and tap on Go. Tap on a counter name or arrow for the following options: All records for the selected stock name will be listed. Tap order. to place 12

13 7. Portfolio Tap to view the Realised and Unrealised Portfolios. This is similar to the Portfolio in the Internet Channel. Amendments can only be made via the Internet Channel. Tap to toggle between Stock & stock code Please note the points under Important Notice. Tap to toggle between Account & Date Tap to toggle among Quantity & Amount. Tap to toggle amongst: Account, Market & Payment. Acount Tap to toggle amongst Last Done, Currency & Avg Price Tap to toggle between P/L and Market Value. Market Payment Important Notice: - Please ensure you check your holdings in your CDP, CPF, and SRS Investment Account statements before selling. - The portfolio does not necessarily mirror the holdings in your CDP, CFD and SRS Investment Accounts. - Shareholdings in the Portfolio will not be adjusted for Corporate actions. You will need to adjust for Corporate action manually. - Buy contracts will be automatically nett off against sell contracts of the same counter on a FIFO (first-in-firstout) basis. Nett off positions can be viewed under Realized P/L. 13

14 8. Market Indices and Market Summary Tap from the at the end of the screen to view Market Indices and Market Summary for various market sectors. At Market Indices Screen, you will be able to view various market indices. Tap on to select SGX or SGX UnitShare Market, U.S. and HK markets. Tap to toggle: Previous Day High Day Low Last Done Tap to toggle: Change volume Change % At Market Summary Screen, you will be able to view various market sectors. 14

15 9. Outstanding Position Tap to view your outstanding positions for up to 3 market days. Tap Stock to toggle between Stock name & stock code Tap Account to toggles amongst your various accounts with LTS Tap Due Date to toggle between Due Date & Trade Date Tap Action to toggle amongst Action, Payment mode & Settlement Currency Tap Net Amt to toggle between Amount Due & Price per share 15

16 10. Change Password / Log Out Changing your Password on one channel will affect the Internet and mtrade channels. You may change your Password via ipad or via the other channels. As a security precaution, we do not allow your trading account to be logged in concurrently using different trading channels. Please log out to exit. Tap on Configuration to decide on the timing for the Refresh Interval for your Time & Sales / Trade Summary To change password, enter the following fields and tap Submit. Please note that any change of password via the iphone will result in a change for your Internet and mtrade Login password. 16
