One in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys experience sexual abuse/assault by age 18. This means that child care providers often interact with abuse victims in their care. This workshop will explore what providers may see in traumatized children, and how they can heal. Modules 1, 2a, 2b and 2c are the four components to achieve Tier One for License Exempt providers. Module 1 is an overview of child development for children birth through school age. The BAS is designed to assess the quality of management practices in the family child care setting.
