We don t just teach you the law. We explain in detail how the law applies to any given situation. Learning is consolidated in 2-hour workshops allowing you space to develop ideas and strengthen your understanding. With convenient routes of study (including daytime study, evening seminars, online seminars and weekend study), our LLB responds to the time pressures of today s student. Our assessment strategy is one of the most advanced and innovative in the sector and by the time you graduate you will have drafted a contract, taken part in mediation, mooted in replica crown court and provided legal advice. Our original approach prepares you for life as a legal practitioner as you engage with the practical skills needed by employers today. If this isn t enough, on graduation you will also become a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, providing you with a stand-out CV when you start looking for employment.

The campus is home to a new 10m Law Court Building with state-of-the-art facilities, including a replica Crown Court, pioneering Law Clinic and a unique Mediation Centre. There s a 24-hour Learning Resources Centre with more than 1200 study places, 600 computer workstations and an array of single and group study rooms. You ll also have access to our intranet, StudyNet: an online university system available round the clock from any location allowing you to carry on your studies and stay in touch wherever you are.
