AD EHSMS Specific health & wellbeing requirements AD EHSMS already has a wide range of mandatory requirements related to Occupational health and Wellbeing All employers within the emirate should already be implementing a number of programs aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of their staff Developed in coordination with HAAD and other stakeholders

AD EHSMS Specific health & wellbeing requirements AD EHSMS RF Element 9 Compliance and Management Review Requires all entities to develop a policy that includes a commitment to enhancing employee health and wellbeing. Has led to the introduction of a number of programs

AD EHSMS Specific health & wellbeing requirements AD EHS RI 3.0 Occupational Noise sets out the minimum requirements for entities when developing noise protection programs. Sets maximum noise exposure levels. AD EHS RI 5.0 Medical Surveillance (inc medical records) - This CoP identifies specific requirements for occupational health screening/fitness to work and medical surveillance Schedule A & B identify mandatory requirements in relation to roles and also chemical exposure Requires all employers to identify possible exposure

AD EHSMS Specific health & wellbeing requirements AD EHS RI 9.0 Workplace Wellness sets out mandatory requirements for all employers to identify common health factors, develop workplace health promotion programs and improve the health and wellbeing of workers Mandatory for employers to have a Workplace Health Promotion Program which includes as a minimum: provision of access to stress management activities; provision of access to physical activity options; provision of access to healthy food choices; and provision of smoke free environment.

AD EHSMS Specific health & wellbeing requirements AD EHS RI 9.1 Expectant Mothers requirement to undertake risk assessment and develop specific procedures for expectant mothers whilst at work AD EHS RI 9.2 Managing Work-Related Stress identifies common factors and procedures that employers will utilize to identify and manage work related stress. AD EHS RI 10.0 Rehabilitation / Return to Work requires employers to have a documented rehabilitation and return to work program Specific coordinator to oversee Provides a managed return to work for staff following injury or illness
