Slip, Trip & Fall Prevention Awareness- Employee training to recognize fall hazards. Trenching & Excavation Safety Awareness- Training to recognize the hazards associated with trenching and excavation. Certification Classes: First Aid/ CPR/ AED: Adult, Child, Infant Certification- Two year certification course in proper chest compressions, rescue breathing, choking and other techniques. You will know how to initially respond to an accident or injury situation and be able to properly treat injuries and respond to emergencies. Flagger Certification- Course designed to properly certify flaggers using OSHA and MUTCD standards for traffic control devices/ hand signaling/ PPE/ and overall understanding of traffic control.
3 Food Protection Manager Certification- Five year ServSafe certification course in proper food protection for food managers in the food industry. You will learn to identify foods that will and will not support the growth of harmful bacteria, the food temperature danger zone, and proper methods to keep cold foods cold, hot foods hot, and the methods for properly cooling foods for later service to prevent bacteria from multiplying. High Angle Fall Rescue Certification- Specific training to rescue workers who have fallen and are suspended in their fall arrest system and no mechanical lifts are available. Laser Compliance Certification- Certification course for the laser hazards in the construction industry. Powered Industrial Lift Truck Certification- Three year certification for the forklift driver in any field. You will demonstrate awareness of safe forklift operation principles by identifying basic features on the forklift, recognizing the technical components of forklift operation, listing safe load handling and driving practices, stating general safety rules, and inspecting and maintaining lift equipment. Competent Person Classes: Competent Person- means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them. Confined Space- means any space having a limited means of egress, which is subject to the accumulation of toxic or flammable contaminants or has an oxygen deficient atmosphere. You will be aware of the hazards that exist in a permit-required confined space and recognize that special precautions, training, and an approved Confined Space Entry Permit or approved Routine Entry Procedures are required for entry. Fall Protection/ Assert Systems Training- Training for the competent person in all aspects of fall protection. You will be aware of the requirements for use of Fall Protection, Work Positioning, Fall Restraint, and Fall Arrest systems. You will be aware of the effects of free-fall and sudden arrest of free-fall on the body.
4 Scaffolding Safety- Training for the competent person in recognizing all hazards in scaffolding erection and dismantling as well as daily use. You will recognize definitions and types of scaffolds, the potential hazards connected with their use, including electrical, structural instability, falls, and falling objects, and will demonstrate proper use of procedures required for working on or near scaffolds. Trenching & Excavation Safety- Training for the competent person in recognizing all hazards in trenching and excavation. You will recognize key terms associated with excavation work, identify correct principles and practices used in designing excavations, recognize proper principles and practices associated with constructing an excavation, and identify the dangers and safe practices that must be followed when working in or near excavations. OSHA Training Classes: OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Regulatory- Training by OSHA approved instructors for the OSHA 10 and 30 Hour classes. Mandatory for the State of Nevada. These classes are Federal classes and good anywhere in the United States. Risk Control Services: Conduct & Support Tailgate Meetings-Safety meetings lasting five to ten minutes prior to shift starting, can be a weekly or daily meeting. On Site Return to Work Policy & Program Development- The primary goal of this program is to return injured workers as soon as possible to their original job at either full duty or in a temporary assignment which is specific to your facility. Safety Committee Presentations & Development- Conduct or support in safety committee process. Safety Manual & Program Consultation & Development- Conduct or support in the safety manual and program process. Safety Manuals/ Injury Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP): Administrative/ Office Safety Manual- Construct/support the personalized safety manual. Agriculture/ Nursery Safety Manual- Construct/support the personalized safety manual. Basic Safety Manual- Construct/support the personalized safety manual.
