1. Administration Once a letting has ended and the bid awarded, the agency will upload a contract document to the Bid Express website. If you were marked as the awarded bidder, the Bid Express service will send an email to the email address associated with the Bid Express account. This email includes information on how to access and download the contract document. You will also need to download the Contractor Signer software and have a valid Info Tech Digital ID. If you do not have a Digital ID, please contact customer.support@bidx.com for assistance. Contractor Signer Installation and Usage 1

Contractor Retrieving Contract Document(s) Once you receive the email from the Bid Express service stating that your contract documents are available, log in to http://www.bidx.com, then return to the email. Figure 1. Email With Message Link Click the message link in the email. The link sends you to the message in the Bid Express Message Center. Figure 2. Bid Express Message Center Click the link in the message in the Bid Express service. The Acknowledge Contract Documents page displays for the proposal, including any notes entered by the agency. 2 Contractor Signer Installation and Usage
Figure 3. Acknowledge Contract Documents Page Your contract document is available in the Documents section of the Acknowledge Contract Documents page. The pdf file has the label Contract in the Label column. Note: If there is no PDF file with the label Contract, or if the word Contract under the Label column is spelled incorrectly, please refrain from downloading any files and contact the respective agency. Before you can download the document, you will need to acknowledge that you received it. Select the check box for the contract and then click the ACKNOWLEDGE button. To download the contract document: 1. Click on the contract name in the Label column and open or save the file. 2. Save it to your computer in a location that you ll remember. 3. Contractor Signer Installation and Usage You must install the Contract Signer software in order to sign your contract documents. This is a one-time event. However, there may be software updates as necessary. You must have a valid Digital ID in order to sign your document. If you do not have a Digital ID, please contact customer.support@bidx.com for assistance. 3.1 Installing Contractor Signer To install Contractor Signer, please follow the following steps using the Internet Explorer web browser: 1. Go to: http://clients.infotechexpress.com/contractorinstall.html You should see the following page: 4 Contractor Signer Installation and Usage
Figure 4. Contractor Pilot Software 2. Click DOWNLOAD. 3. Depending on your computer s security software, you may see a warning message. Proceed to continue the installation. 4. When you see the below pop up message at the bottom of your screen, click RUN. 5. In the next window, click INSTALL. Figure 5. Run Message Contractor Signer Installation and Usage 5

3.2 Using Contractor Signer Once the MCS Contractor window is open, the Contractor Signer feature requires that you upload a contract file, select an agency, enter the contract ID, and enter your bond information (obtained from your surety company). Select a Digital ID and enter its passphrase (password). To use the Contract Signer, please follow these steps: 1. To upload a contract document, click SELECT on the MCS Contractor window. Figure 9. 2. Navigate to the file where your contract document is saved and select your file. Click OPEN. Contractor Signer Installation and Usage 7
Figure 10. Document Library 3. Complete the remaining fields and select your Digital ID from the drop down menu. Note that if your designated agency is Missouri DOT, there is a check box to select a paper bond option. Figure 11. 4. Enter your Digital ID passphrase and click CONTINUE. The Bond Verification window displays as the entered information is used to retrieve bond information from your surety company. 8 Contractor Signer Installation and Usage

The following window will show the signature progress. Figure 14. MCS Signature Process Once the contract is successfully signed, a confirmation window displays. Figure 15.
